In this episode of the Let's Go! Living Dex, we catch used the catch combo method to get ourselves the 1% shiny Poliwrath (which was actually a lot easier than I thought it would be) and continued to make progress towards our Let's Go! Shiny Living Dex! However we finally ended up getting some bad luck with the new shiny hunting method...

My gosh. Currently doing a shiny bade quest with this new info and I’m chaining an Oddish for the 1st gym at 521!! I hope the rest of my playthrough isn’t as unlucky.

Your so lucky getting it under odds I had to catch 1195 Squirtle to get any shiny I got to the chain of 999 and I was so angry
Dang! I’m currently over 500 for kadabra. I’m hoping that doesn’t go that long but yeah I’ve been getting pretty good luck so far with this method

Whoa shiny Poliwrath looks pretty dope! I’m definitely excited to chain combo for some shinies in let’s go eevee and produce some video shorts. One of them is going to be for Ditto in the Pokémon mansion when I get round to it. Haven’t seen many people chain combo for this interesting specimen.
Currently still hunting Articuno in Seafoam Islands- current encounters: 2’030.
For the 1% encounters I’m hopeful to hunt for a Kangaskhan in the near future after the hunts I just mentioned above. Loved your extensive guide for chain combos and definitely hope to get some shines via this method soon.

nice i saw this video while shiny hunting bisharp in pokemon sword and i watch ypur video about needing to fine brilliant pokemon so that was a big help or i would have prob spend 12 on this hunt lol thx and keep up the hard work

For how long you put the switch to sleep with the game opened?? I just have time to play at night and I'm on a shiny hunt so I can't close the gate neither turn the switch off, and I'm afraid it can harm my switch
I can’t tell you the last time I fully turned my switch off lol. Mine’s always just in sleep mode!
Much respect how much time you invest. Btw for Shiny catching Abra. Do you have to get Abra from the side or only from the back?
You can get it from the side but it has a pretty wide field of view, so if your not careful, approaching it from the side might still result in it seeing you and teleporting!

So how would I do charmander do I use this new catch combo method or what? I thought you can only spawn charmander after combining other Pokémon
They can spawn before hand but are a lot more rare! About the same as a 1% Pokémon. It just takes a bit of patience but after you get the 11 combo they’ll spawn almost guaranteed every time!

How was that high of a level only a green circle for catching it??
After you catch 100 of a certain Pokémon it becomes extremely easy to catch!
I got a shiny porgon then transferred the porgon to lengends arceus to evolve it
Nice! I thought about doing that with all the Pokémon in Let’s go that can evolve in later generations! Imagine a shiny Kleavor from let’s go!

I broke my diglet Chain of 506 for a shiny chansey I feel that porygon pain

@@ThedomiNATION I actually had to switch from the catch combo to the 1024 odds and I got one in day 3 after about 2 hours Extremely unlucky 😆 I'm now in the power plant hunting magnemite using the door reset

It can happen! It’s just being unlucky! You’re never guaranteed a shiny at odds! Hopefully you get it soon though!

Can anybody trade me an Omanyte? I'm trying to fill the dex and have nobody to trade with :(
You can obtain omanyte from cerulean cave. On the top floor in the middle of the room, once a day there will be an item there and it can be any of the 3 fossils along with other items. Also the bottom floor of cerulean cave has another hidden item spawn that can give the fossils! Along with these spawn points, you can also simply send up an omanyte from Pokémon go and catch it in the go park in fuchsia city!
