Your gen x droopy cleavage looks great in your thumbnail. Please stop trying to appear younger than you are.
This is my favourite video you’ve done in a while. For a number of reasons. The main one being the genuine happiness you projected when you got Turtles in Time. It was oozing out of you. That feeling of getting a grail that’s in the best condition cannot be beaten.
I had palpitations 😂😂😂
Rah is that you yeah? Absolutely smashed it with turtles in time brev cmon!! if that’s not levels then I don’t know what it is ❤❤🔥🔥
@@reece3891 Gripped ANOTHER big hitter in an episode next week too 😮💨🫠
Thank you for the Super Chat my lovely ☺️
Nice pickup Gem . Turtles in time is probably one of my most nostalgic pic ups . I remember the day I picked it up in 1993/94 . I was 13 and manage to snag a copy from a clearance bin in a shop in Rotherham. I don’t remember the name of the store but it was on the parkgate shopping park in Rotherham . It was across the road from the Jolly giant store . I had some Christmas money or something at the time , so I picked up 2 snes games and turtles was one of them . I’ll never forget that day as Turtles in time was my favourite game from the snes era. I loved the arcade Turtles game back then as many of us that grew up in the 80’s 90’s did , it was probably my favourite arcade growing up, and Turtles in time was the closest game to get that experience at home . I still have my copy , I haven’t seen it for a few years but I know it’s safe in a box buried in my wardrobe. I also picked up a famicom copy about 10-15 years ago for around £60 . I thought it was a bargain at the time and loved the Japanese art work so I bought a second copy 😂. Great video Gem , glad you’re keeping that nostalgia alive 👍
@@colinlacey100Thanks Col. always keeping it alive my friend. Let’s go
Ah bless ya Gem, loved your giddy look when picking up Turtles, lovely to see proper, genuine thrill at picking up retro goodness 🥰
@@Ste_365 Aww I love this comment. Honestly I’m still super happy with it
Wow thank you for this video. I moved to the UK and Leeds back in late 2019( have left since) and attended this market back in 2020 right when the lockdowns began. Crazy it's been 5 years already
Replay certainly know how the markets are done ✅
Heavy Hitter Alert! 🚨
Let’s goooo Callum
Was nice to meet you at the event, thanks for taking the time to chat with us and get a photo! - Jerry
Heeey it’s Jerry.
Lovely to meet you. I wished we could have talked more about your game dev job. Fascinating stuff
@@TheGebs24 next time we'll have to grab a bev and chat some more 😄🙌🏻
@ 100%
Watched quite a few of your vids this week! And i want to say your editing is brilliant Gemma 👍🏻👍🏻.
Thanks so much! 😊 This was a rough edit. I can do much better. The lighting was terrible in the Venue.
Honestly I really appreciate this comment. Thank you
@TheGebs24 your editing skills on all your videos are top notch!! Really enjoy them. Long may it continue.
Random memory unlocked. I had those Turtles hankies in the early 90s. Completely forgot about them. I think they came from somewhere like C&A 😁
@@dans2576 🔥🔥🔥🔥
So much cool stuff there! Curious to see what you scored! 👀
I love the hunt my friend 💎
Another Awesome episode gem
@@MJ-HUSTLE Thanks MJ 🔥🔥🔥
A good hunt gotten 😊 nice vid as always 👍

Great video! Always love seeing your retro market video's. Congratz with the Turtles in Time! Amazing game and the condition looks so good on this copy. Loved seeing those Kamen Rider figures in the beginning of the video, I probably would've bought some. 😅 And yes to Dino Crisis remake!
Thanks Raptor. Great support from you recently
Bloody love your excitement in that pick up!! Thats what its about 🥳
Emotional comment right here 🥰
Great video
@@Videogamelover58 Why thank ya
Great video! Congrats on the Turtles in Time purchase, that looked to be in incredible condition. Also really nice getting the price down a bit too.
Were those Turtles handkerchiefs? I pretty sure I had those back in the day.
The Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo games on 3DO at the beginning of the video were both the same game. They were named differently in Japan compared to the West. The music on the 3DO version is incredible, especially Cammy's theme.
Nice to see some PC, really enjoyed Hidden and Dangerous even though I was rubbish at it. 😀
Man LIKE X!!!
Yep, they were a full set if handkerchiefs mate.
I never knew about the SF 2 point you made either. Thanks 🙏
Love the game convention there 😊
@@hyperz91 It was awesome
Great stuff you got👍🏻😊❤️.
Thanks
I have four Lynx, two mk1, one being new/old stock, two mk2, one of each has a McWills LED screen which totally elevates the machine and ups the battery life. Great handheld with some great games.
Niiiice
Final Fight Guy with no Manual...such an anti climax. Glad you got some good gear, sorry I didn't see you and Callum, was probably too busy to even look up as I was at the back. See you at the next ones :).
The stalls looked like they had some really great stock! Also doesn't look too busy like some of the other retro game markets which is good, looks like there's room to browse
Never in my life knew about that PS1 4 pack!
Dino crisis is a fav of mine, they've recently released both 1 and 2 on GoG on PC and a little while back released the EU version on PSN so possibly something in the works for a new one? Heres hoping so anyway!
Amazing pickup with the turtles game! Bet you're so happy with it👍
I never knew until that day. Pretty neat Dave
Jesus good haul. Remember spending £1000 at the London Gaming Market, got some gems though
Ooofff! What did you get?
Great looking show .some heavey hitter games .great to see
Wow. I’ve sold a large chunk of my retro collection over the last few years as I didn’t think prices could go much higher. Seems I was wrong 😂 Still, offloading a large part of it was one of the best things I ever did. I got a good chunk of money to put towards a house extension, and I don’t feel like I’m a hoarder when I see what’s left of my games. I even managed to get money for all the empty plastic tubs I was left with 😂
@@jonathan2950 Prices seem to be getting higher and higher
Those prices are like wow. I didnt realise retro games are worth that much. Im tempted to revalue my collection. 😮
Do it
Happy day of retro games collecting, nice pickup.
Thanks!
I can completely relate to the feeling of being fortunate enough to have this. I was lucky enough to get my pal Turtles in Time for the SNES just before the pandemic hit for £100. I've only opened it once, on the day of purchase, honestly there could be a VHS tape inside now and I wouldn't know, as I only ever play the emulated versions of it, that is until the Cowabunga collection released. It's an absolute classic piece of gaming history and a brilliant game. Enjoy.
£100? That’s awesome. I have very fond memories of my brother and I beating the game
@TheGebs24 I know. I still pinch myself, especially seeing the prices now and I've never had a better deal since. I must have spent hundreds playing the arcade version in the 90's though so I guess it adds up in the end.
I always love seeing your vids Gem. Bitmap are awesome. A good one is the ants to zombies horror book. Im pretty sure thats bitmap books
Yeah Bitmap are ACE! JUICY5 is your code my friend
So looking forward for con season to start picking up in the US one of the best things about the hobby
Agreed
You must be a very lucky lady....!🥰personally i prefer only old games....!
These are old games
I bought that...
Holy magic century..
It was like mint with only wear on one corner..
It came with origional insert.. manual was like new.. and had its registration sheet..
The guys were nice and took off £10 and got a protective box..
The game itself is an underrated rpg.. battle system similar to parasite eve but turn based.. (this was released before parasite eve 1 btb)
You gain stats like a simplified oblivion.. you gain hp/def by taking damage.. agility by dodging attacks..
Wow! Thanks for this information.
I appreciate it
Did you waste a whole lot of money....hell yessss!! 😂😂
Thankfully I have it to waste 😮💨😮💨😮💨
Hi Gemma, hope everything's crispy over there in the UK. Just wondering if you had ever thought about vending at a con. Not so much for the $$$, but more for the hobby/social side. I reckon you would have a blast being on the other side of the table so to speak.
I’ve considered vending but I guess I’ll continue to consider it 😂😂
14:23 OMG THATS MINE AND MY MATES STALL!!
Subbed. ^.^
Let’s gooooo. And welcome 🙏
Again @Gemma another Gem 👍
💎
The amount of stuff in that market is insane. I would have spent thousands.
I almost hit a £1K spend at this market
Interesting that 4 PS1 games in one pack, never seen this kind of game pack before. Found the Toca Touring Car game alone last Saturday.
@@mrjsv4935 I’d never seen it before mate
Chuffed for you with your Turtles pick up. I spent most of my budget on a copy of Echo Night Beyond from Allan at Forgotten Worlds
Sweet Josh!!
Was a great day at Leeds Gaming Market wasn’t it. We had a fab time. Great turtles pick up! If only I could rewind to the early 90s…I could sell you my pristine CIB final fight guy. Always preferred selecting Guy to fight with on Final Fight. Such a great game either way though, shame capcom didn’t manage to squeeze complete game on a single cart
Does yours have the music CD? 💿
What a great day it was. I’m glad you had fun
@ yeah it did. I had to buy a converter to play the game on my PAL SNES. The import game cost me a fortune even back then, think it was about £65 in 1992…I shouldn’t really complain modern games are expensive 🤣
You needed to turn around and show the PS1 Harmful Park sitting on the shelf
Ooohh I missed that.
I've got the Ripleys on order to create a new Aliens cube for next time!
@@arc-ives2860 YES! I’ll buy one for sure
I’d love to get hold of Turtles In Time, it’s the only game I’m currently actively seeking. I have a rule that I don’t spend over £100 on a game but I might have to break it for this one. The only other time I did it was for Hyperstone Heist, so it’s worth doing for a Turtles game.
I’m selling my repro copy. Box,
Manual and cart. Immaculate
@ I’m trying to go for the full version like you bought in the video (although doesn’t have to be quite as perfect as that). I’m patient, will get it one day thanks.
@ You’re welcome
I love your content
Appreciate it
I will watch this later 😂
Enjoy
Always see so many games i want. not fair lol.
Wished you were there TomMeh
How can an old copy of TMNT Turtles in Time be £450 here? Nice retro game 🎮 event, Gemma! 😀👍
Gem how do i find out were and when they have these markets on
Follow Video Game Market on the socials. I always shout about them too
Big fan of Dino crisis defiantly need a remake it’s overdue.
Heck yes Day Walker
Awesome vid! Would you by any chance pick up a game and ship it to the US? I’ve been trying to get EA hockey on the mega drive/genesis and can never find it over here and it’s always in your videos! Not sure how much shipping over here to the US would be though
Did you see that game in this episode?
Cool Lady, love your Vids ! Keep it 🆙🥳…i found Hideo Kojima‘s Masterpiece ,,Snatcher“ many years ago in great condition for 500€(~420£), but today you don’t even get the Booklet for this Money 😂🙄! That’s Crazy
Regards from Germany ✌️
Guten tag! Wie gehts?
@@TheGebs24 Guten Abend ! Gut 😉, Dankeschön
@ Sehr gut meine frueund
2:06 Samurai Shodown in right. 7:00 I'm fan of Wolfenstein 3D. 16:19 Is The Incredible Hulk game for SNES any good at bottom of the screen? 23:46 I played Dino Crisis in 2000, crazy to think this year 25 years ago. Dino Crisis Remake would be awesome.
@@WrestlingandFilmReviews YESSS to the Dino Crisis remake
£450 for that turtles game????
You could buy a new xbox series s and a copy of the cowabunga collection (which has both the snes and arcade versions of turtles in time as well has all versions of tournament fighters and the hyperstone heist) for a lot less than that (its on sale for £13.99 on xbox at the moment in a sale).
And people get mad when people use emulators and ever drives and download ROM's.
Don’t like the price? Don’t buy it. Simple
The price is for the nostalgia and history of being an original cartridge in mint condition and in a box. Collectors knows the Value.
It's just different perspective and point of views.
@@TheGebs24trust me there is no way I would spend that much on a game like that. Its almost as much as a PS5. It's the reason why I stopped collecting. I used to have loads of mega drive, ps1, dreamcast. N64 and SNES games but greedy collector prices is why I stopped. For that price I would want the ninja turtles to hand deliver the game to me.
@@GoldenRetroobut what justifies a £450 price tag on a game that's not even remotely rare or anything? I could sort of understand if it was factory sealed or a 1 off special cartridge that was given away as a prize in a competition but its just the normal PAL version of the game.
@@acepengu1n355 i can understand your point my friend. You are right too. Did you sold all your collection?
Final Fight Guy NTSC-J came with a mini CD also
Allan mentioned the CD. I should really aim to find one
@@TheGebs24 I have the Blockbuster one also - no CD with that though!

@TheGebs24 it was a very good event
Do you live stream on TH-cam?@Gemma 👍
No I stream on Kick, linked in the description
I'm pretty sure I bought Turtles In Time for $14.99 back in 2000..... and sold all my SNES games for less than $400 on ebay as a lot in 2005. I had almost every US title except Earthbound... only because I never liked that game. I regret that that sale every day of my life...
It’s crazy to think how cheap things were back then
Couldn't catch the name of the first store that had all the SNES ?
@@chriswhitehead4749 I show their business card in the episode 🔥🔥 AMAZING GUYS! I hope to see them again.
I think I need an eye test 😅 watching on my phone at work so I couldn't read it

@TheGebs24 i work as a paramedic though so I probably should get it sorted 🤣
@ Hey, thank you for the work you do ❤️❤️
Do they sell CRTs
Not that I’ve seen
I’ve never heard of Holy Magic Century but what’s that kid from Quest 64 doing on the cover? Could be a fake, be careful out there.
I just found out there the same game sorry

Final fight guy wasn't just missing the manual. It came with a CD. Look it up.
@@atomiswave1971 Allan mentioned that. I don’t care the CD. I wanted manual
2 variants exist, with & with-out CD
@@mdk3938 didn't know that. I think the one that does have the CD has it written in the corner of the box.
@@atomiswave1971 That's correct, the CD ver has the blue/white emblem in the bottom left corner. Took me a while to find a decent no CD version but not sure which of the 2 is considered a 1st print release.
@@mdk3938 Probably the CD version is 1st, because its a bonus. Remember its just a release of Fight fight with a different playble character. The CD version goes for more as well. I feel happier now as I thought mine was missing, but looking at it its not the CD version. I also have Cotton 100% which is also missing the CD.
