I think Bowen could do okay but his data hasn’t been amazing, and there’s a chance I go for him later down the line anyway because his fixtures do turn a little.

Gabriel, Lewis, Van den Berg, TAA, Davis
Saka, Rogers, Mbeumo, Bowen, Luis Diaz,
Cunha, Haaland, Wood.
Just rotate cunha and wood and hold a 3-5-2 for the first 3 game weeks.
I'd consider Davis a 4th defender to Lewis.
And Bowen and Cunha the huge upside differential.
Pras, 7:50 if you have 1FT this week then you'll have the same amount after the deadline. So before GW7 deadline, you will only have 1FT - you don't get an extra one!
10 mln. in goalkeepers is simply too much. FPL is a game a probabilities, so we need to decide the level of honesty of Arteta and whether he is playing some "dark arts" again or not.

If I should have a placeholder for Raya, it would be Alisson rather than Ederson. Liverpool are much more solid in defence this season.

I’m thinking Saliba or Lewis to Porro after 3 game weeks played, you keep Gabriel for the harder fixtures cause of the extra attacking threat. I can afford so many good assets but my brain keeps coming back to McNeil, I could go Bowen or Eze instead but I’m not feeling it.
Eze is a god pick. Bowen just risky given how West Ham are doing.
Something that could be a good option is Semenyo to Eze in gameweek 8, at that point Eze could be as low as 6.7 in price.

At 7:50 you say that you’re carrying 1 FT into the WC so you’ll have 2 FTs for GW7 (if I understood correctly). Are you sure? I was under the impression you would just have 1 FT for GW7 in this case.
yeah this is unclear.
The wording from fpl rules: "any saved free transfers are maintained for the following Gameweek. If you had 2 saved free transfers, you will still have 2 saved free transfers the Gameweek after playing the chip"
I have 2 FTs this week. Played my WC (so used 1 FT) and so will indeed have 2 FTs next week.

For anyone wandering, I played my wc.. had 2 free transfers before playing and had 2 free transfers going into the next week. So yes FPL considers the wc as a "transfer"

Just one thought if Raya will eventually come in, why not go for Kepa instead of Ederson. Has great next two. Makes lots of saves, so even in tough games the base is 3/4 points.
Because I think I Ederson will score more points in next 5-6

I like the structure you talked through a lot, it just makes sense long term. The only risk is a shift to a premium heavy midfield becoming essential but that's unlikely. For me the most difficult pick is the 3rd striker, I really don't believe in the DCL talk that is gripping a lot of the community, but as you said in the video it's not one to love, its just the price point and there aren't many options there. I did wonder if for these drafts there is any value in dropping down to Archer and keeping that extra spare for a mid upgrade later on. In the first draft it would mean starting Rogers too which is a plus.

Is Havertz worth owning when his position as a forward is not certain and with Ødegaard out? I did own Havertz previously, but my assesment is that there now are several better alternatives. I might very well be wrong.
Apart from the fixtures and the pens which still haven´t been very many, what is the big attraction with Fernandes at this moment in time? Have we actually seen any improvement at all? Yes, he is shooting like a mad man, but are those shots more an effect to desperation? I have no faith in neither him nor his team.
So jealous of that team value😭 buying Haaland for 15.3M is such a killer for me

With price rise these drafts are not possible all midfielders and defenders have a price rise! So I have triple Arsenal Gabriel, Saka, Havertz. Raya for Flekken. Will miss out on Watkins and might be regrettable.
Except if you captain Watkins for every single gameweek over the next couple of games where Villa have good fixtures and you're likely to get about half the other captaincys wrong between 2 different players then Watkins is definitely worth it as he's gonna bag at least 1 return a game for a while now.
Need another 1.1 M to get that team😂
