I am glad that more recordings are available being played on bass tuba. I honestly detest how this sonata sounds on CC tuba but the sound on F is just so much clearer and sounds easier. I play this on F tuba as well and it made learning the sonata much more enjoyable.

Part of that is definitely due to the kodiak. This wouldn't sound great on a lot of the smaller, more traditional F tubas in my opinion. This recording is fantastic though!
