Those X-Men renders are actually fan-made 😅 You're right about the rest, though! They were developing 12-inch "Premium" figures with advanced movesets and Muppets-related material for future Infinity installments.

Yes but I believe renders were out and the fans took over. Sentinels and all. While the IDEA was real. I can’t quite find past renders. This was a place holder for the idea

@@Indie_Animation_Guy with who? Avalanche got bought by WB i believe. They haven’t been very “chatty” over reviving the game series. PLUS I can’t imagine the price now…
@@tu-viepodcastYou're correct. Disney sold Avalanche because the Toys To Life genre was dying and they were losing money. They didn't think Avalanche could make any games that weren't TTL(even though they were making an Iron Man game at the time), and sold it to Warner Bros. Ironically, the first game they made after being sold ended up being one of the most successful games to launch as of late, Hogwarts Legacy. Disney were probably kicking themselves after that.
Man I miss Disney infinity 2.0. Would totally get a 3.0 if made today for all platforms.
We missed it too... 4.0 would have been wild! WE go into a lot more detail in the episode.

Why did Disney Infinity get canceled
SO there are 2 main reasons! One is over production and the other is one over saturation. We cover it in more detail in the full episode (which you can watch on the channel here) BUT those two went hand in hand. There is ALOT that happened!

Yes. Never claimed these were the designs, these were the fan mad after potential leaked ones from YEARS Ago, HOwever they were making an X-Men base game involving every major villian and more. Before being shut down in 2016
These and Daredevil were possible leaks to then which fans did create. SO yes these were fan made. But the idea was in motion, these were a place holder for ideas.
This game is still going?
Unfortunately no. It ended in 2016. We covered the whole thing in our episode. On our channel!
