I love this. Question not about the beach though. 🤣 if I’m considering micro Locs’s should I install while my hair is in a short style. I have a fro hawk and my sides are shaved and my back is Uber low, any advice on when to get micro locs installed?
Hi Ms. Sharon. Not sure if you plan on keeping the fro hawk or not. You can either lock the hawk section, then loc the rest once it grows out. Or you can grow it out then loc it all at once. I think it's more of a preference for you.

When I got mine installed, my sides and back were shaved. Once my hair grew to a point where it could be established, I got those parts locked.
If I'm not getting in the water, I love just leaving my hair hanging with no particular style. It makes me feel so carefree.

Thank you for this video! I've seen people saying we need to wet our locks first before getting in the ocean or pool and then rinse immediately after. Is this true?
I've heard that too but more for ladies with loose natural hair - I guess it would work the same way and if it works for you!
I've heard that as well but for chlorine water (pool) because you don't want your hair to obsorb the chlorinewater. But I don't think it refers to the beach water.
