- Blockchain, basketball, Broadcast.com: Mark Cuban has never lost his passion for disruption. Now the billionaire entrepreneur has an ambitious plan to take on Big Pharma and lower the cost of prescription drugs once and for all. And, after 13 seasons, this savvy shark may finally be ready to leave the tank.
Cuban, the entrepreneur, has founded more than ten companies, starting in 1983 with software reseller MicroSolutions and up to Cost Plus Drugs, the public benefit corporation he started in January 2022, which aims to lower prescription drug prices. Cuban, the insta-billionaire, sold Broadcast.com, an internet sports radio outfit, to Yahoo for $5.7 billion at the peak of the dot-com bubble in 1999 (a few years later, Yahoo shuttered the service). Cuban, the investor, has poured at least $25 million into crypto concerns (including dogecoin, the currency famously started as a joke) and taken stakes in at least 400 startups, many through Shark Tank.
Mark Cuban sat down with Forbes reporter Jemima McEvoy to talk about Cost Plus Drugs, where he sees cryptocurrency going and what his biggest business regret is.

I looked up to Mark Cuban a great deal. After his involvement with Voyager Crypto, I don't trust him much.
He's friends with Daymond John. DJ went on Grant Cardone's TH-cam channel to sell very expensive crappy self help programmes and books. I recall them claiming that even if a person is bankrupt, they should max out their credit to take a $20k course by DJ x Grant.
I don't trust everyone as much.

The last three minutes make me really think hard. He is completely right I think. There is a reson why certain technologies are booming and others get less traction and the methods how we learn things nowadays have changed a lot. I wtach a lot of youtube, but I feel way more knowledged about topics that interest me, when I ever would by watching tv. I have no tv for 7 years now and do not really miss it at all. Havent used it the 5 years before as well.
Also being so self reflected on his generation is awesome and this is obviously so true with the tv generation. Just checked statistics in germany and 65+ year olds are watching 6 hour and 10 mintes of tv daily on avergage. 20-29 year olds are sitting on 75 minutes.

The thing with being an interviewer it’s not to stick to just asking questions, it’s about the continuity and the flow of the conversation and I felt that this interviewer did not get that. She just asked questions and the answers and then it continue without any flow of how the type of questions were linked or any expounding on an answer. Having a guy like Cuban on who’s very open would be great for a seasoned interviewer who researched him and his many moves because it would be a great discussion.

I hope he also looks at the cost of bio-identical hormones for women...the fda wont approve it (the ingredients are natural/from nature not a money maker for them)..they want us to use their version which of it...the health Insurance of course wont cover it so its all out of pocket so depending if you need estodial (estrogen) progesterone, dhea and testosterone..it can cost easily $150 a month for a compound prescription to keep your hormones balanced...this is not just for women going thru peri, or menopause, this is for women at any age and at any stage of their lives along with men. This is something that needs to be addressed because your hormones is what helps keep you healthy and this is needed considering how long people are living.
