I had NO idea you could be this in depth decorating biomes! I've just had the attitude of "if it fits, it sits" ever since I got the game. My plaza and the beach just have houses strewn haphazardly everywhere. This is inspiring me to get back into the game to gather supplies and mass craft housing items to prep decoration. I came here to say almost exactly this (right down to "if it fits, it sits" 🤣) I am absolutely obsessed with your biome tours, you've done such an incredible job!! I've completed all the quests and dreamlight tasks now so I'm definitely going to hunker down and sort my biomes out now I've got the time and inspiration!

I’ve just started the game so it’s been so nice to see how everyone has been decorating their Valley. I’m basically collecting furniture and resources so eventually I’ll be able to design the biomes

I loved the farmers market idea where scar's house used to be. I have been so lost when it comes to decorating the sunlit plateau lol, I already went and filled it in lol, and since I added a bookshelf I got inspired to move Merlins home and library nearby as an outdoor library, fenced in and all! I love how my sunlit plateau is starting to look and finally getting ideas for the rest of the layout. Thanks for the inspiration!
*theres a little corner in my farmers market with the outdoor cooking station, a few chairs, coffee table and scrolls, across from the bookshelf. I like to imagine Merlin and the villagers discussing lost memories 😅, which was what inspired me to move merlin's home/library closer. Not important but just fun lol. this is amazing. I just wish scripted shop sold the stuff I have like path. Wooden benches wearing etc. It's such a bummer we don't all get the same . You must spend hours . Can't wait to see your other designs. 😍😍😍😍😍

Obsessed with this! Can you tell me where I can find the shorter trees (not the shrubs/bushes) that you used? Specifically ones at the beginning of the video near WALL·E’s house. Those trees aren’t populating in my “trees catalog” while building, and I only had 2 spawn in the area on their own
This is really incredible!! I never would have thought to structure the space like this. Did you have to grind a lot for all those craftables?
I had to grind most for the pathing that I used! It required a LOT of clay. The other items I was able to make as I scavenged the valley everyday so everything else wasn't too bad! 😊

I would love to know how you manage to decorate a biome like that. I'm playing on Switch and it's pretty hard to decorate large areas (quite buggy still on Switch). I was wondering if when you start decorating you empty an area completely (like you place all the houses randomly somewhere and then decorate the area) or you place the house and decorate around it?
I've heard on Swtich specifically that decorating is really buggy and it tends to crash a lot. I play on PS5 and don't really have any issues with it at all which allows me to do this huge builds with a lot of foliage items!
So when I start decorating, I make sure that everything in the biome is deleted so I start with a blank slate. After that, I place whatever house I think is "next" and then I decorate around it! I always place the house first so I can see the footprint it leaves before I start decorating.
Do you have an updated tour when you placed Pride Rock?
I actually have not gotten around to decorating more YET, but as soon as I do there will be an updated tour! :)
I noticed you have two sets of bones from Scars area in your build. I can only find one that can be moved. Where is the other from?
If it's the small set it's from Scrooge!

i don't actually have a guide on building the area, i only have a tutorial for the pathing in other biomes. this is a general walkthrough just to show my set up to help with inspiration! :)
I’ve been trying to get the stone path blocks, 100+ times so far, haven’t seen them in scrooge’s store yet! Are they just super rare or something? 3:44
They showed up a couple months into playing the game so im thinking they might be?? But I'm not quite sure. 😅

You can purchase it from Scrooge! Ya just gotta get lucky with it showing up in shop. 😊
Does building like this make it difficult to grind materials like pieces of wood, sand, clay, flowers, etc? I see where you’ve left the nodes open. I’m slightly confused watching other videos where people drop flowers from their inventory, vs new spawn flowers
Nope. I tend to leave most areas accessible so if flowers and sticks spawn i'm still able to get them!! :)
Could you fit all these things in other biomes?
So I was able to do three biomes without hitting the item limit.

Hi, I know you posted this video a while ago but can you tell me what the large stepping stones over the path are called? I can't find them anywhere and there is nothing online I can find about them. Awesome video by the way!! Thank you for sharing!

@atheenabean thank you for responding so quickly! No, it's the gray large rocks overlaying the dirt path by the large angled benches. Hopefully that makes sense. If not, I can tell you at what point in the video I see them. Thanks again!
