0:30 ..wait..thats not true damage skill (or superior magic damage) ? I guess the magic protection didnt made any sense.

Voodoo jester's curse ability (his E, the scaling DoT ability) is magic damage, and thus magic armor helps prevent some of the magic damage you take.
Also, the difference between magic and superior magic is that superior magic goes through magic immunity, but it also factors in magic armor.
