Jeez…the Mötley Crüe story is insane! I’ve never heard that one anywhere! I never knew that Dave, Mike and Al were at Texas Stadium for Ed’s guest spot on “Beat It” with The Jacksons! Wow!
Somewhere I've seen footage of that actually....Before Ed went into playing the Beat It solo onstage you could see him indicating to someone in the wings that he was having problems with getting a sound signal to his Kramer , as though the jack plug socket was malfunctioning....
