I'm not sure if it's just a style the way it was cook. But usually, the way we cook it back at home (in Cagayan) is after cooking the toppings you must take it out of the wok before adding beef stock and cook the egg next. After that, move the cooked egg aside, add more beef stock (and little cooking oil) and then cook the miki next. After it's starting to get cooked, simply remove the extra soup and move it to another pot. While the miki is in the work, you can add soy and ground pepper and continuously stir until it get's a bit dry. Next is to place the miki on a plate and add the toppings. For the soup, simply cook it in the separate pot (just the way how it was shown in this video). One thing that is missing here is the chopped onions with calamansi, soy sauce and chilli peppers (for condiments). :) Though this one looks legit and believe it does tastes just the same! Definitely a two thumbs up for you guys! Worth sharing too! :D Peace up!

mas maganda kuya kung flat miki noodles local miki dito sa tuguegarao tas yung new wave na bayil patung wala or kontin na pong gulay minsan kabatennga nalang po yung nilalagay ns gulay ngayon tas yung magulay po yan yung classic. tas kada serving po ng pansit nandun yung sibuyas toyo at calamansi with suka that serves as a sauce. but all in all ur tutorial vid was awesome more power. ps. di ko po alam tawag sa kabatengga local term kasi namin dito
This is not the proper way of cooking batil patung. We cook the toppings separately from the noodles. Di rin namain hinahalo meat with vegies. Overcooked yung toppings nya.
Fino Aranda yes pu kua... prang yun pu tlga yun gnagmit tlga na batil patong na pancit kc sa pag ka alala ko mejo sticky pu cya na noodles pg naluto na... nkita ko lng pu yan sa Santiago isabela before kc yun boss ko is mga batangeño pu cla.. pro yun batil patong nla iba Ang pgkaluto.. wlang gulay na halo..giniling na karne lng cya at oyster sauce.. tpos kaldo ng pork bone lng pu yun pnka soup na gngmit...then after mluto toppings pu yun sunny side up eggs at durog na chicharon.. at separated na pu yun pnka soup nya with egg n pu yun at konti cassava flour pra pu mlapot...tpos P75/order
