The adi part 3 is a teaching exam, on the adi part 3 sheet it says "Was the teaching style suited to the pupil's learning style" if your pupil learns by Visual - seeing pictures or videos then that is what you need to use. You wouldn't use that if what they did was a minor or driving fault - However if what they did was a serious fault then yes you NEED to pull them up and discuss so they fully understand Generally at the start you wouldn't do a briefing, that should already have been done in the time before getting the examiner.
