Good that Lichess noticed and banned those players. I don't agree with Kramniks recent endeavours but I do think cheating in online chess is an ongoing disease that is seriously threatening the existence of the whole format. Thankful for the moderators and others responsible for the major chess sites for their work on keeping the integrity of the game we all love intact ❤
@user-ik7jl7ft6y I'm glad they nabbed that bar steward. Online cheaters have become the bane of chess and the frequency with which it is happening is becoming depressing. Eric is such a nice guy, he never even hinted that the guy might have cheated though he must have known it with a high degree of certainty. I'm so happy that he got his points back. Eric, if you are reading this, well done! Instructive rapid is my favourite content of yours to watch by a large margin.
So far..imo..your instructive theory/teaching has helped the most. Thx, Stafford Gambit! I have also learned cheaters cant play at a fast passed game as easily especially blitz. #COE
I think what you are playing Eric Rosen is the Paulsen variation. Taimanov does not have the pawn to a6, but rather queen to c7. I also prefer the Paulsen, or the Sicilian Kan.
They are literally buying 5 subscriptions, and 5 random active people in the chat receive those subscriptions to IMRosen's twitch channel. I haven't received one on twitch, but I did receive a few on youtube, and they seem to be usually for a month or so. Might be different time length on twitch
Yeah I was ready to give him the benefit of the doubt for finding that sacrifice. In rapid wasn't that crazy a find if looking for a way to get the queen across. The more suspicious thing was the fact he seemingly had a better position against an IM for 20+ moves.
@L1ttlepace exactly my thoughts, I actually found the knjght sac. But those pawn pushes, without castling, and the way "he" (the stockfish) made them stick were insane. An untitled player simply does not play like that against an IM and crushes him.
Instructive rapid is my favourite to watch
"it's probably fine" - Eric, castling into opponent's advanced queenside pawn storm

Eric: There’s a funny line = opponent’s about to get massacred
Eric: I don’t know what to do = Oh well a loss is a learning experience
@joeb4142 learning from a loss to stockfish is not a bad way to learn.

Eric never fails to make chess fun!
I made a New Years resolution to start going to bed earlier….and then I found your channel
So funny, the draw arrow incident. lol
"Exercise my right to castle" sounds very American

Lol i thought he was referring to the more common 'rice cooker gambit' (as seen on chess vibes channel)
Just a twitch question. When someone gifts 5 subs, does it basically mean they are donating $25? Since each sub is $5, if I'm not mistaken?
Sort of. Part of twitch subs go to twitch. A donation would all go to the streamer.

Another stream with no London 😊 thank you bro🎉
last game is a london, no?
I wish I could gain elo without playing any games!
❤
Big shout-out to okda45 for taking out an IM with an incredible knight sac!
Edit: lol oops he cheated
Their account was closed for cheating.

@treylord2746 you wouldn't happen to be that bar steward's mate now, would you?
@treylord2746 on second thoughts... *YOU* wouldn't be okda45, would you?
How can you be better than 100% of rapid players? That would make you the best on lichess
I think Lichess rounds it up, so if you are better than 99.9% it will say 100
@@Filzon-h9t thank you
99.5, same deal maybe@@Filzon-h9t
Spoilers: Okda was a slimy cheater
I’m only half way through the the video and came straight to the comments after that game
Why cheat against an IM as a 1800 crazy…
120
Eric’s mic is so annoying
How so?
1:06:05 this guy must have been a cheater, knight to f5 is almost impossible to find.
1:03:50 but you burned a lot of time on this move
rapid is the most chill lunch time video to watch
