at 2:10 you say that this watch has a barometric altimeter, but when I read about this watch on other sites, that seems to be incorrect. I've read that only the Vantage V has a barometric altimeter.
My M600 just died and I'm disappointed there isn't a successor. I tried the Ignite but since swimming is very important to me and I couldn't see the display, I had to return it. Can we get a round M600 next? Come on polar.
Hi - thanks for the review - can you tell me regarding the heart rate monitor - can you pair with the Polar chest heart rate sensor/strap? I'd like to be able to get as accurate reading as possible. Thanks and Run Like The Wind!
I have been with Polar for over a decade. So I have history of my training on Polar Personal Trainer and now Polar Flow. My problems with Polar started while I was in the Philippines and using my M600 watch with my iPhone X and the latest iOS 13.3 My M600 always had synchronization disconnecting issues with the Wear OS that you have to use for Polar Flow uploading. My M400 was synchronized with Polar Flow, pre Wear OS and was fine. I’m wondering is the Wear OS the issue or is it an Apple iPhone proprietary thing. I don’t expect a HRM watch to last forever and actually my old Polar S710 lasted a long time even withstanding crashes on my mountain bike. I have to make a decision soon and HAVE to track my fitness data. I use Strava and just started a couple other 3rd party tracker apps and every year it about improving my stats. 2019 I rode my bikes over 2000 miles and this year I’d like to get to 3k.
I bought the Vantage M and love it! Perhaps you can update your review and talk about the features now with the latest firmware update. I’ll post some of the App and website data analysis pages on my channel too. It’s really amazing how much you get for a $300 HRM watch.
As far as I know the Polar is capable of showing notifications...no words about that? I'm wearing Wear OS devices since day 1 on Android Wear - and I'm thinking of switching to a fitness smartwatch. Notifications are crucial for me.
It does appear to have a stopwatch (under timers), but not sure if it has milliseconds, i see an extra .0 peeking out afters seconds next to lap time... support.polar.com/e_manuals/vantage-m/polar-vantage-m-user-manual-english/content/watch-faces-and-menu.htm
I have a Polar M200 and i'm thinking of buying de Vantage M. How much does the battery lasts without training mode/gps/HR? My M200 lasts for 2-3 weeks, and 3-4 hours training with GPS
The review is to short. It's all about listening to you talk, rather than appreciating and been shown the functionality of the watch/product. Take a look at some of the reviews by Cardio Critic. They are much better because you are walked through the functionality of the product and shown the products graphic user interface. Thanks, nothing personal, just trying to improve your style.

You're right. I stand corrected.

Great video. Do you know if you can see live last lap stroke amount and swolf score like on the garmin swim watch?
30 hour battery life is great, but is there a ultra battery extended battery mode?
No Ultra mode
There is a vocal coach with the possibility to set parameter I want to ear ? Every x minutes or when I leave a heart zone ?

I found the screen very dark of Polar Vantage M, is there any way to increase the brightness of the screen?
I had the same problem. If it’s in the settings, I couldn’t find it.
DirtyOldSneakers ok, tks
Does it have a stopwatch that is conducive to sprinters?? I need the milliseconds
It does not.

Hi DOS, does it count calories burned from workouts?
It does! And I found it very similar to others on the market in terms of count.
I'm wearing glasses and screen visibility it's important for me. I'm running 4.30 am what you thinking what watch its the best for me?
Not this one. Garmins have better backlighting
Thx man
Looks like this guy is reading something above! not watching the camera!! :)

Ok I, ll skip this one thanks for the info tho
Basically you're looking for a Lifestyle watch not a Sportswatch which has no use for a touch screen, just gimmicky.
@@TheAtl0001 actually having a apple watch I'm used to a touchscreen is much faster for me so yeah, everyone has diferent opinions
@@jgp1 apple, yep, like i said for people looking more for a lifestyle watch than a real sports watch.
