Come with me to a place no eyes have ever seen A million miles from here where no one's ever been God-given grace and a holy heaven face I'm on the edge of something shattering I'm coming through "Ok, let's fly", she says, "this carpet's made for two" This ugly little box, no place for me and you Our carpet falls on a dew-fresh daffil plain Take a look around, there's something happening All the colors fade I don't want you now, bang bang bang gone Ooh I don't need you now, the seeds are sown Ooh bang bang pretty pretty, bang bang I don't think so, no no I don't think so, no no Bang bang, bang bang Below the country rolls like a mighty boiling sea The warm red sun gives up and sinks into the trees But I'm no fool, I can't stand here betrayed Take a look around there's something happening All the colors fade I don't want you now, bang bang bang gone Ooh I don't need you now, the seeds are sown Ooh bang bang pretty pretty, bang bang I don't think so, no no I don't think so, no no Bang bang, bang bang
@@jcalver80 great work John. Always great to hear, meet another Stone Roses fan. Out of interest do you get copyright claim when making up your own backing tracks? Might be a route I need to take. Ez drummer?
@@jcalver80 yes never tried but I guess we are using the music and scoring out music so I guess it will still fall under the artist claiming which is fair enough.
Bravo ! Do you prefer the earlier stone roses sound, when John used lots of reverb and only played a Gretch ; strat, or the later, more distorted sound of the les paul ?
@@jcalver80 I love both however I feel like I enjoy playing the second coming a-bit more than the first album, with the second coming I play with allot more energy and movement (I pretend I’m John Squire 😆) whereas the first album I’m almost idle when performing, I cannot move allot when I have a gretsch compared to a les Paul and it just doesn’t feel right, but I still enjoy it. Overall it depends on the mood really
@@jcalver80 yeah kinda, I don’t know if that’s the best way to do it, if I have enough time I will play the albums in order then play some of johns work on the seahorses. But if I’m just looking for a quick buzz I’ll just play the second album

The outro on this is the best thing that they ever did! Brilliant vid.
Thanks! Too kind. Great outro isn't it, underrated song
The bit at the end is a real heartmelter of a melody. Well played mate and cheers✌️
It's so good isn't it John Squire was so melodic. Pleasure mate glad you're enjoyed

What an amazing compliment thank you so much!

Great work John, sounds fab 👌🏻
Thanks mate always a bonus to get your seal of approval
Great Cover man!
Subscribed.
Could you do a run down on the effects used at the outro?
Hey! Sure, it was a while ago, but I believe it was chorus and Tremelo and then Tubescreamer for the solo...
That guitar though 😍👌
Thanks mate
sounds amazing, John ❤
Glad you like it Gabi gotta choose another now 😄
@@jcalver80 would love to hear Good Times or Tears
Nice epic one I like your style... cool I'ill start on one... can't promise how long though haha
What effects/ amp settings do you have on the lead guitar?
Sorry forgot to reply! Effects on this song are chorus, tremolo tunescreamer and delay
@@jcalver80 thank you!
Great tab , but a bit tricky as the tab isn't relative to the Capo
Some people like it that way, I prefer it too.... horses for courses I suppose.
What affect do you use at 3:54 ?
Tremolo and Flanger
@@jcalver80 thanks much appreciated, sounds allot like the affect he used on ‘begging you’
Awesome! What do you use to create the backing track eg drums?
Thanks! I program them in on EZDrummer 2 and I just play bass myself.

Yes they always claim but you can dispute.
Ezdrummer sounds great or one of my friends uses gatageband with hss a great option
