Voll has a high fight IQ and knows how to keep the fight where he needs it, but he isn't threatening anyone from his back, for example. Yeah Henry is likely too small for Volk but that has nothing to do with how well rounded either of them are.

Volkonovsky may be the best pound for pound fighter in the UFC right now, and would definitely be favored in that fight. But if Henry puts the right game plan in place and gets his hands on him and takes him down, there’s not much that Vulcan ask he’s going to be able to do against an Olympic gold medalist.

Lightweight is definitely the most skilled division. Those fighters, if they were bigger, could have titles in other division. The second most physically talented division is 145. But something about Volkanovski’s title reign seems lacking. It’s most likely the fact that he lost to Max in their second fight. Maybe it has something to do with one of his defenses was vs KZombie who’s only 4-4 in his last 8. Volk is fortunate to have faced the guys he’s faced. There’s definitely tougher tests at 145 than KZ and Ortega. Hopefully we have “and new” on July 2nd

Dude after watching this guy fight Brian Ortega and overcoming what he overcame and walked away with the win, I don't think anybody in the world is going to beat this guy. That shit was scary. They were trying to kill each other in there and this guy walked away with his belt. It wasn't easy either I honestly thought somebody was going to die in that cage that night. It's the most gnarly fight I've ever seen. I've never seen a champion step up and deliver like Alexander did that night and I don't even know this guy I'm not a fan. Lol.

Lightweight is definitely the most skilled division. Those fighters, if they were bigger, could have titles in other division.
The second most physically talented division is 145. But something about Volkanovski’s title reign seems lacking. It’s most likely the fact that he lost to Max in their second fight. Maybe it has something to do with one of his defenses was vs KZombie who’s only 4-4 in his last 8.
Volk is fortunate to have faced the guys he’s faced. There’s definitely tougher tests at 145 than KZ and Ortega.

The judges really killed an entire division ): Halloway clearly won 1/3 and even if you think Volk clearly won both of the other fights (he didn’t, the second could’ve been a draw honestly) a 2-1 gives merit to run it back after Max beats a few more contenders. It’s hard to give a 0-3 fighter a rematch but we all know there’s 2 names in featherweight and then everyone else
