I did this years ago in Texas. It was a blast until a couple of idiots treated it like bumper cars and caused a small pileup. Most of us who were involved stopped where we were because one person hurt there neck and the medical staff needed to decide if it was ok to let the injured drive leave or send them to the hospital. The driver that caused it and his friend ignored instructions and acted like it was funny.
Are they electric? If so where does the engine sound come from? Is it added in? I just went to R1 karts in Lincoln RI. They are electric and whisper quiet.

Yes they're electric. The engine sound is added through speakers in the kart.
Do you know what the top speed is? I think R1 is 35mph
R1 top speed is 40-45 called speed 4
Do they have helmets with camera mount or did you bring your own?
I use my own helmet, but I wouldn't be surprised if a few of the helmets they let you use had them. Definitely worth asking them when you go.
I want to ride an electric motorcycle around there but the overpasses seem too low. Still a great place.
And I really like the sound of your kart. Is that the motor, transmission, or a speaker?

Karts are basically silent but they have speakers with engine noise

Did you watch past the first lap? I think they are plenty fast for the track.
It's normal, rental karts can't be too fast since they're driven by the general public
