- The Carolina Panthers had been feeling pretty good about themselves after competing with some quality teams lately. This game against the Cowboys was the first time they were favored in 2 years and it turned out to be the wrong way to lean.
Bryce Young struggled with 4 total turnovers on the day and the Cowboys capitalized every time..

What up doe? This was a bad loss but it wasn’t surprising. I’m still hopeful for the future. Bryce didn’t play well but the offensive line wasn’t good either. One bad game doesn’t get me down. I hope that we bounce back and play better next Sunday.
Two words: KEEP POUNDING 💪🏽
Boy, im with you. You win, or you lose
Almost doesn’t count!
@UBSportsTalk in the words of Brandy lol
Hire Robert Saleh for DC this off-season
Yeap
Definitely need to cuz e.j. Just refuse to adjust as the game goes on & we need to try our best to fill out wholes in the offseason via draft & free agency
He has to want to come here. Why on earth would he come to coach this defense when he could go to much better teams
@NoNot-g7i Because he can rebuild a defense and make it elite. He did that with the Jets, or did you forget that.
@@DrPepper_V1 because he was taking the HEAD COACHING job at the Jets. He has no incentive to become a coordinator for this team. I don't know how people like you manage to tie your shoes in the morning
Only positive was the 88 yard TD to Coker.
The corner messed up on that one and it was a busted coverage. Even so, 9 saw it and threw a good ball
Which was blown coverage and underthrown lol
That intro beat go hard
We need to have another good free agency and then trade back in the draft, it’s a deep edge rusher class and we can get good value if we trade back to early mid first round
We have 10 picks. It would be nice to use our first pick to try and get a star but that is never a sure thing. I would understand if we traded back because we have so many holes.
The one thing that bothers me is when BY9 is struggling they go away from Chuba. like he had less than 15 touches.
What up Doe!
No moral victories in this one.
Got spanked and then spanked themselves for good measure.
Keep Pounding!
They was content with Being in games but 1 score games does two things 1 teach you how to finish and what to work on or 2. Being happy with the almost and we was happy with the almost we don't have a winning or killer mindset yet
Bingo!
No business being the favorite 🤣🤣
Outside of the first drive we did nothing. Quite blitzing force feeding Theilen
IF the Panthers do not part ways with Evero then I just hope Dan Morgan knocks it out of the park with a mostly defensive draft; because it seems Evero, like most mediocre coordinators, can only succeed with elite talent.
AS for the offense, I am really excited about Coker. Unlike his fellow rookies he ACTUALLY caught the big play ball and did what he was supposed to do, He also made a few other clutch catches. IF there is anything to be optimistic about from this game, that alone is it.
Sometimes, you face a team good or bad that just has your number and catches you with your pants down. MAYBE, that's what happened today with the Panthers. Next week's bout with the Cardinals will tell a more complete story.
I agree dog how the hell you let CD go off when everybody knows he's the main threat damm.
Yeah, 24 hours on I'm weirdly excited to see how the team responds to such an ugly loss. Maybe it really can be a wakeup call.
We've already seen Canales pass a lot of HC tests like showing up off the Bye or competing in big (relatively, atm) games, let's see how he rallies the guys after a humbling, ugly loss.
Am I the only person who doesn't want Travis Hunter? He is a great player, but we need Dline the most imo.
I'm kinda back and forth. We still need BPA, and Travis Hunter is probably the only dude in this class who's a true blue-chip, top-5 talent that (it feels like) you'll kick yourself for missing out on just because "position need". It's also a deep d-line/edge class.
Lol dang calm down family. Its ok. Yes this hurt bc the cowboys suck but we can't just disregard what we built to this point. The defense was and has been an issue and even the announcers kept talking about how we've been decimated by injuries. Bryce was under a lot of pressure and we DID NOT RUN. That combined with poor defense equals this result. Im not as down for sure and not worried. Future is still bright. Saw Bryce still throw some dimes while getting hit. Coker had some plays. Legette even though it was out of bounds mossed that corner. We're ok. And we may not want it but the team could possibly be not necessarily tanking but not pulling out all the stops. Bc a good corner, a wide receiver or a dominant edge rusher with a healthy LB core changes this team. Hate on Hunter all you want but he's a great wr he can run AND catch those anticipation routes Bryce excels at OR he can be a great corner. Personally I'd want him at DB with some snaps at WR. Don't need him to dominate both sides. Just be a great 2-3 DB and a 4th/Slot WR who can be a mis match
Only thing this team pounding is their own 🍖 🥓 🥩. Should have beat Dallas!! 1st fumble then fumbled on 1st play of 2nd half ,Dallas scored on both. BS team
Leggett is not a #1 wr. He hasn’t shown any elite traits. An undrafted rookie is outplaying him
He was never supposed to be. He's a 2nd round talent they drafted in the 1st for whatever reason. Only reason he became a starter because Johnson and Mingo were traded plus Thielen went out hurt. His college film/stats are terrible regarding drops and bad route running. Rumor has it....Bryce's father advocated for drafting him. Just like Steve Smith advocated for Mingo. One day Tepper is gonna let the guys he hires do their job and not listen to his family and friends lol
I think Thelien is great but the team did better when it was just Legette and Coker. Theilen wants the ball most of the time so the QB is constantly trying to make plays for him. Then he has hissy fits when the game doesn’t go his way. Legette and Coker are rookies but they are not ball hogs and share the plays without issue.
I can see that for sure. Like hes a stud but sometimes its better to spread the ball around vs stare down 1 receiver and get sacked 6 times.
Yeah that interception, throwing to Adam theilen, when the ball popped up in the air was Bryce not making good decisions. JT sanders was wide open for NFL standards and Greg even pointed it out, on the broadcast. Idk if theilen is trying to be a ball hog though. Bryce just trusts him more than anyone else. He just made terrible decisions today, unfortunately.
@@Benw3790I agree that Bryce only trusts him. I wager that will change in the coming weeks as he keeps working up that confidence with Coker.
@ me too. And I would hope that canales talks to him about it. Go through all your progressions. Don’t just try to force it to Adam every time.
