She is the first Filipina-American woman to win the title of MIss Texas USA. She talks about her family, her journey to the crown, what she did to prepare, what she does in her spare time, why she loves being a fashion designer, and how she is helping survivors of domestic violence find new hope and new skills in life. Please, she's preparing for her next step in pageants, to compete for Miss USA !
She’s very articulate but relatable. She speaks from the heart. Definitely a Miss USA and Miss Universe material.
There are 3 filipino american contestants for Miss USA this year. The other 2 are Miss Hawaii and Miss New Mexico. I'm rooting for Miss Texas though. It'd be interesting if she ends up joining Miss Philippines in the last 3 finalists for Miss Universe 2022. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I don’t actually watch beauty pageant, but somebody sent me a link of her interview. I must say i’m proud of her advocacy and she truly deserves to win because she is a queen and have a big heart with beauty combined. I don’t attach accomplishments with ethnicity, i look into their hearts, whatever race or which countries they came from is not important. Keep up the good work! You are a change into this world.

Our culture helped a lot when she & her crown as Miss U.S.A. was bashed . Calm & collected & humble. That also shines on her under pressure on stage , noticeable on the tight top 5 of Miss Universe & top 3 respectively. Ms. Montana 2022 should take this lesson for her to win .

Now you’re Miss Universe! I was just thinking, in the past 5 years there really has been a huge Filipino movement in everything! Especially in the pageant world! Congratulations Filipinos!🇵🇭 Listen, I’ve done pageants before, in my younger days, it’s super hard and takes intense discipline. I’ve been saved by grace, at 27, now 38! Serving God has been the best thing I’ve ever experienced in my life, Christianity really brings a stability in your life that you cannot get any where else. I said all that to say this: God used this young lady as she was speaking I teared up and He confirmed a few things in my life through her! I don’t agree with pageants and 99% of the time they send out the wrong message, but aside from that, may God bless and protect R’Bonney Look at this example, she persevered even when she got 1st runner up in the small ones, aka she didn’t win. But she never let that keep her down, she fought her way all the way to top and won the biggest competition of them all, Miss Universe! 🔥 The last shall be first and the first shall be last! And in this case “If 2nd place keeps fighting then eventually she’ll be first!” ❤🙌🏼💒🎵
