If you turn on the screen hints on the right (which keys to press) it'll show you what to do to bring out your shield. Basically you hold the torch key longer to swap between torch and shield, and once you swapped to shield, you can bring it out the same way you would a torch.
If only they could combine the villager management and followers from Bellwright with the town building and dynasty mechanics from this game. Imagine being able to kit out your own soldiers and rally them on the walls to defend against 20+ attackers. Bellwright still blows MD out of the water for combat. But the MD towns look so much better...why cant they just be one great medieval simulator...
@@raginasiangaming910 I though about this so many times. Both developers can learn from each other. Both of them bring great but different things which make it really good😄
Ha, funny. Remember this game from the beginning since i last played the "oh hello im ur uncle go build ur own town somewhere on the map" introduction with nothing else.
I am playing this game on ps5 on the valley map and don’t have any of these clothing options are these specific to pc or the oxbow map I’m lost or maybe I somehow missed an update

I feel I dont have great luck with the herald, sometimes going 2 years without seeing the herald🤦♂️ It is definately randomly generated, just not frequently enough. I was kind of disappointed when I found out that you need the herald to get your emblem😬

@@getallback if you have been following the developers updates over the years, they never intended to bring heavy armor and weapons in to the game. They wanted it to be more of a town management game. So they are evolving and are actually giving people what they want😊
Boring game, zero content but some bad desingned quests. Bellwright, Black Desert Online, any mmo its much better any game in similar genre. This is just poorly managed project. Better even to play Star Citizen or Ashes of creation. Life its to short for that title.
@Michael-bm2ll what is interesting i also like sometimes high dynamic games like returnal, battlefield, rust. I think depending on your goal this game can be done in high paced too, but in different way. Me trying to manage on time(each season have different function) all thing to get the best profit i can is really makes my brain stimulated, like managing all seeds in spring, while in the same time craft as many poisoned arrows. And i have the obvious goal for that - many decorations need a lot of money! (I am playing on default setting)
