My favorite eggs to make at work.. 1/2 a package of frozen spinach in a rectangle plastic to go box, like what Chinese take out comes in. I'll microwave that for a couple of minutes to thaw it. Then I add a big scoop of cottage cheese in it, 3 eggs, some shredded cheese, and a little water. Then mash it all together and stir it up. Snap the lid on it and put it in the microwave for 6 minutes. When I take it out, I put pickled banana peppers and salsa on top. I prefer the hot version of both. There is no need to grease it, you can slide it out onto a plate. I just eat it out of the to go box, less mess. It is a large, hearty keto breakfast.

Ladies, ladies, Turkish eggs are the best! Place a tablespoon of butter and another tblsp of olive oil in a skillet. Drop in a large minced garlic clove and 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of Aleppo peppers (or if you like it hotter, use crushed red peppers). Crack the eggs in whole, add salt and pepper, flip and fry only until yolk is still runny. Place a dollop of plain Greek yogurt on a plate, salt and pepper it to taste. Place the entire skillet contents on the yogurt and sop up the sauce created on your plate with a chaffle. The yogurt cools the heat of the hot chilis and helps create a delicious sauce with the yolk, butter and garlicky olive oil. Delish!

A favorite egg recipe of mine is to take a handful of cheddar and sprinkle it evenly in a pan, till bubbles evenly. I lift up the edge till im sure its formed a nice shell.. Then I separate the egg yolk and set it aside. I whisk and pour the white over the cheese and tilt the pan till it totally covers the cheese.
I season the egg white and add other omelet fillings leaving a space in the center for the egg yolk ( I like it runny) . I add the egg yolk last, then lift the egg cheese shell over 1/3, then fold the left and right edges up like a burrito, and finally fold the last edge over to make a pocket. The cheese shell crisps up as it cools but the egg white helps hold everything in. It's a cheese shell omelette pocket!

The only days I don’t eat eggs are when I’m fasting. I. Love. Eggs. Up to 4 a day in addition to those I use in my baking and other dishes. When I’m feeling lazy and not inspired to cook, I just fry some up, over easy, and enjoy. I’m grateful for the local farmer who feeds my habit.

My Ukrainian granny used to heat half a cup of milk til just before boiling, melt a couple tbs. of any cheese you like, pinch of salt and pepper, pour in two whisked eggs and stir every few seconds until a super fluffy scrambled egg happens….sometimes she added a few chopped mint leaves. It was a dish served to babies and people with a jittery stomach, but really easy to digest and not greasy as a lot of cooked eggs can be.

I made a French egg recipe I found on a keto website that was similar but made in a muffin tin in the oven. We used Gruyère cheese, which sounds a little more French. It only took 10-15 minutes in the oven depending on whether you want the yolk soft or hard. It was quite tasty.

I made the Korean egg recipe for breakfast today & incorporated the suggestions to make it better. I added a little soy sauce to the eggs before cooking & I cooked it in chicken broth instead of water for more flavor. One thing I did which didn’t work out was putting it on top of a chaffle. The chaffle got soggy, so next time, I will just eat the chaffle on the side. Otherwise, it was pretty good!

I made the Korean eggs for breakfast as the recipe suggests. I tsp. of each: baking powder, sesame oil, fish sauce, but more green onion and no carrots. I cooked it on low for 5 minutes (induction stove) and it was NOT wet. The leftovers which I ate 2 hours later had solidified and were not nearly as creamy as the eggs are right out of the pan. Next time I will add some "Better Than Bullion" (but not much) for additional flavor and seasoning. The amount of sesame oil and fish sauce was perfect and I loved the results.

Again I made the Korean creamy eggs. The second time I dissolved some chicken Better Than Bullion in the water and then added the egg mixture. I still had to cook the eggs covered for about 5 minutes (not 3) but there was no water left when they were done. I used a bowl and dumped the cook eggs into it to serve and the bottom of the eggs (which became the top) was just slightly (attractively) brown. This is an excellent find and delicious as well. Next time I make it it will be for company. Thanks for all you do.

I can't say if baking powder makes the eggs fluffy or not because I've not tried it, and it may do just that, but I do know that in the restaurant business they add water to the eggs to make them fluffy. So if you've ever eaten scrambled eggs such as at a buffet and they're really fluffy, that's usually because they've added a bit of water to them when they wisk the eggs. So I'm curious if its the baking soda that caused the fluffines or the water, or maybe both. Hmmm... but either way, your recipes look delicious, and I really love watching both of you girls. Also, thank you for the discounts. You girls are awesome! 🙂

These look delicious - thank you!! I'm excited to try the Korean eggs. I love eggs now but haven't always, so I feel ya. But one dish I always enjoyed is omelet with onion and cream cheese. You basically saute a few TB onions or shallots in butter until they are softer and golden (I prefer them not to be totally caramelized), then pour over your egg mix, making an omelet how you normally would. While it's cooking, add small dollops of cream cheese throughout so that every bite has some. Let's be honest, it's hard to use too much cream cheese. Cook the eggs on medium low heat and cover, so the top firms and you don't need to flip it and the cheese gets melty. Season with salt and pepper (chives would be good, too) and enjoy!

Thanks ladies! I was wondering about the 4-Dash waffle maker (I always use your chaffle recipe and would love to make multiples),can the plates be removed for cleaning?

LOL. i have to giggle because both of you have said you don't like eggs or a lot of parm in the past. I would have used gruyere cheese iif I were forced to make this. But all i n all, I'd have skipped this recipe completely! The exploding eggs and chili crisp eggs look so good! I'll try those. Thank you for all the interesting science experiments. :)

@Chef Jean Pierre - make his scrambled eggs. The secret(s)? Whisking the eggs (with salt) 15 minutes before scrambling AND adding an extra yolk. AMAZING!

I’m with you. No runny whites of eggs. YUCK!
I would never try an egg fast. I like an egg every once in a while but not even every day. I might try the one you boiled. Looked tasty.

My favorite egg dish is a frittata. I don't use a recipe. For one person, I use two eggs. The rest is just by eye. Start with a veggie. My favorite is spinach, but zucchini and asparagus are really good, too. You can use leftovers, fresh, or frozen. If you use fresh or frozen, put the vegetable in the frying pan and cook a little first. Add eggs beat with some shredded cheese, onion powder, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Ham can also be added if desired. Cook until the edges begin to brown. Then put the pan under a broiler until the center is firm and the top begins to brown. For the cheese, I use mozzarella, cheddar, or parmesan, but use whatever you like.

I'm not a fan of the runny area around the yolk either. I always 'pop' it as soon as I crack the egg in the pan!

BEST raw egg recipe I learned in college. Hungover and late for an exam; vodka shot, tomato juice, pepper and raw egg. Drink in ONE gulp and RUN to exam. Oxygen to the brain during the run and all major food groups to sustain during the essays. Hair of the dog that bit you....

I can't imagine not liking eggs because they are my favorite food. I can, and often do, eat them daily. Scrambled or over easy. Love your videos though!
