It 8 years now that 1D been on hiatus and while, it been 6 years that 5H have been on their hiatus. What Little Mix recently gone on their hiatus almost 2 years.

harry was hurt very badly by zayn leaving the band so he said that instead of saying what he really feels
i get so emotional from this watching harry and zayn i almost cried how sad i am for the boys
in my opinion about i completely being harry's choice to disband or take a "break"- after the major hurdle that had just hit them w zayn leaving the band obviously they were all deterred. they kept going for a few months but for how long can you go without taking a break? it was bound to happen, all the things piled up together, like zayn leaving and being overworked and mistreated by their management for 6 years almost. if any of them wanted to leave nobody could force them into staying, not just harold. zayn's departure really took a toll on his health mentally because i mean his body language when talking about the whole zayn thing in the MITAM era shows it all, he also knew that their mistreatement was ruining liam and louis' health too, they didnt even let niall get KNEE SURGERY. in the long run, what harry, and they collectively did was the right decision because they're so much happier now, as much as i want them back i would never want them back just to go through that hell of a management again. them and their mental healths matter most.

Its actually quite sad watching them being forced to lie. I mean what are we people could expect? We are so fast at judging judging judging. But if some of us could understand how debilitating, pressuring and overwhelming fame can be - maybe we could show some humility and compassion.
With all their fame, with all their money, they have to hide. (Because, privacy, my friends IS very important to many - us included).
I'm an aspiring singer, but quite franky I'm scared to have 10% fame of what these guys had. By god, I don't envy them.
I know we all love Zarry. Lets just not forget, that with all their talent and beauty, they are simply... humans

also, one of the biggest lies were that they couldn't dance. i feel like i always knew they can dance. like the x factor for example. harry and liam were really good. zayn...well he was okay. he tried. louis always made up those dances that they always did, including the ones in the bse mv so it was pretty obvious that HE can dance, and niall was always dancing on stage. i think the biggest thing was that they just didn't want to be those dancey, matchy boybanders.

@Yaa Lol you're unintentionally agreeing with me lol. By Harry wanting to leave (which was because of Zayn), it showed the importance of Zayn in One Direction.
Like the video said, without Harry there's no One Direction, but there's no Harry in One Direction without Zayn. Therefore, Zayn leaving was the first piece to fall in disbanding of 1D.

Directioners are nothing without One direction, one direction is nothing without Harry and Harry is nothing without zayn, man I miss the relation that Harry and zayn had, I feel in the band zayn was always left out, u can see many interviews were most of the questions is always answered by Liam or Louis, I consider zayn as the best singer among all 5, I feel zayn was never given that amount of importance in 1D by other band mates except harry,and on Harry, he is a very good human being, simple kind person, who felt very painful when his friend and bandmate left the band, what made Harry feel so sad is that zayn saying "they never talked", Harry was the most affected with zayn leaving band, coz I believe if zayn was given the importance by other members like Harry did, I feel he wud have never left out and Harry would have never been sad and hiatus and Harry taking initiative would have never have happened, please dont feel offensive about what I said, I am forever a directioner, but I feel so sad for zayn and Harry and the band being disbanded,I think u guyzz know my pain,my dream is that one day Harry and zayn come and hug each other for so long time and just sing together and have happy ending for this emotional saga of world's greatest boyband world ever had😔

One thing I hate about hiatus is that, you’re not really sure if a bands or groups.
If they would even reunite together again as full piece at lease or not at all, I never really like the word hiatus or taking a break when they’re really mean the group is break up for good.
I don’t see either One Direction or Fifth Harmony getting or performing together anymore, at least not uniting back together again any time soon for a long time.
I know that New Kids On The Block didn’t get back together 14 years later in 2008, after breaking up in 1994 as some of them went solo or some went into acting or just disappearing from public eye.
I am not too bum out about, because I knew this would happen. Sooner or later as this shouldn’t be a surprise to anybody, that it happen...

I guess I can understand one of many reasons Harry called the shot to take One Direction on an indefinite break. That one being Zayn.
1D is and will always be 5 boys. And when Zayn left, I guess Harry felt that the band might not last much longer without him so.... call it while it’s still fresh so a potential reunion in the future is more likely sorta when everyone is ready and tensions have settled.
..... just my speculation on a possible reason.
Dunno how valid a comparison is but it’s kinda like when Kevin took a break from Backstreet Boys for a while. Granted there weren’t fights or anything that led up to it.... to my knowledge. Kevin had family and stuff he wanted to focus at that point. But I kinda bet that had he not returned years later, BSB probably would’ve been done eventually if it remained 4.
So sad that the hiatus idea was coming from Harry. He was the one who wanted this to happen.
