update: eh, i've adjusted. i still prefer the originals slightly more than the remakes but i don't hate them nearly as much as i did before
here's my original opinion though:
maybe it's the nostalgia talking, maybe it's the spamtrack brainrot, but i do not like either of these remakes at all
i genuinely don't see what other people see in these remakes. maybe i haven't fully adjusted myself to them but they're both misses in my book, very ok-ish
