Asking for help and/or working with others is something that top students do! Think about it - Olympic athletes have coaches. They obviously know what to do to get in shape and they are quite capable- but are they out here trying to go it alone? Absolutely not! So, you should make it your business to use up all of the resources you can from Day One. And as you alluded to, you were chosen out of thousands of applicants to be part of the med school class for a reason! They evaluated your application and knew you could do it, so embrace that and be PROUD! Thank you for sharing your journey and congratulations on finishing 1st year - we are cheering you on! 🎉
