Another cracking informative video Dai, if you get the time would love to see your way of tying a Bimini and attaching the leader with one, I always seem to struggle with my leader knots for some reason
Nice one 👍 nice to see grip wires done properly.. I fish a mark in north Wales and sometimes I have to Hank the weak link line like a brick line and put a bread tie round it so the trace is 15ft above the weight..still waiting to get a lead back 😁
Lovely stuff.. I use the Gemini RB as they work really well, I use a lot shorter weak link though but will try it like this. You talk a lot of sense and about the little details that can make a big difference.. really enjoying your videos
Great vid always worth having more than one string to your bow Dai, i make my r/bottom clips as it gives me something to do when the weathers rubbish.🙂
Utterly brilliant info, pushing the loop of weak line through the grip wire makes a lot of sense. Rough ground is definitely a confidence thing, go out with the mindset that you’ll lose some kit and you won’t be disappointed when you do.
Another nice video m8 👍 i personally use the pin and foam on 2 O rings at the bottom of an imp but i tie a short weak line on to the pin to get the set up back instead of scarificing it each time as i try to leave as little in the sea as possible, i also like the gemini cage used it for a wile but fishing sometimes 4 sessions a week they can get expensive 👍
Brill video again Dai Just a quick one know the tank in the background seen crabs in it did you have a pump set up on it if so how long do you keep them for please 🐟👍
Hi Dai, loving the videos, always useful to see how others do it and pick up new tips!! i'm assuming your tub in the background is a homemade tank for bringing peelers on prior to freezing down at the perfect stage. I've tried to do this unsuccessfully in a bucket with a water change everyday (which is a pain) and it didn't bring them on at all. Could you do a short video on your tank, if you use a filter / aerator on it please if possible? Cheers
@@anglingambitioncustomrodho1162 that will be perfect mate that's what I'm after.. as I always get my crab that are almost there but a little off the popping stage they are already in the peeling stage but, if I could keep them until they are perfect that would be super helpful rather than struggling to peel a crab that is almost ready you know?
Brilliant mate. Love the twisting, not seen that before.
Spot on mate , another great watch
Awesome mate, you broke me in big time when you took me out, only used to clean to mixed ground, what a learning curve that was 😁👌🎣🎣

Yes mate, but u won't bring on hard backs to peelers. The tank is for crab which are in the very early stage and are not ready to be fished with
