1. That's a TransLink spec thing. Some other agencies specify that as well. I think it makes for easier boarding, single file only. 2. The blue roof actually looks nice. Better than all white like Calgary has. 3. That's the new spec with Novas, although I'm sure the old window design might be an option.
I think the Novas are not as top heavy as the New Flyers. The XN40s sway really bad. These have different seating than any TransLink XN40, but the ride would be similar.
What type of rear door? Touch bar? Touch sensor? Or driver activated? I prefer BC Transit style of stop announcement system with color screen, next two stops displayed... Although at least TransLink style is easy to see.
These New LFS CNG units look...
...intresting...
I think these buses should have USB ports... TransLink ordered their double decker with them...
3 things that look goofy on this new bus:
1) Front doors still being an unequal size
2) Huge blue roof
3) The smaller driver window
😂

The drivers window is a big improvement for visibility! At least they can finally order driver side manual mirrors!
Sound wise, I already prefer the Nova CNG’s over their NFI counterparts but I wonder how they compare comfort wise?

Since the novas are better on the hills than the NFI XN40
@@beauhathaway6627 more torque or horsepower?
@@jjvans9434 the novas dont roll back on the hill and the new flyers roll back a little on the hill and then come back
@@beauhathaway6627 Ahh okay, got it now. I’ve noticed that today. Finally was able to get on one for the first time today
