I benefited from a bias among two of the other players. Elder, the Pantlaza player across the table, has been with the group much longer than I have and has a reputation for being a dangerous player. Over time this has caused a mild form of PTSD in the other two players that causes them to overreact to threats from him and underreact to mine. We have dubbed this form of discrimination "Elderphobia."
