I’m re-watching greys right now. Just reached the part where Meredith and George have sex. And he really did change her life. In the aspects that she stopped having frivolous, reckless sex after George because she realized how hurtful it was for her. That decision changed the trajectory of her life.
I have an inside joke with my mom, who watches "Grey's." The joke is, "When is the puppy man going to return?" We both felt like he would return and that he would be alive; the dead man was someone else. She watches "Grey's" and I don't, but I often hang around when she does. For so many seasons, he never returned, but the joke kept going. And tonight, my mother wrote to me, "He returned," and I knew what she meant.
They should have just sent him off to war and had him come back later as some amazing grown not fumbley man- who knew exactly what he was doing and was confident. Owen hunt vibes but obviously not Owen hunt cause yuck. But still sweet George. But I would also be pissed if there wasn’t the 007 episode. Cause it’s a damn good episode.
Well TR was unhappy because he wanted to come out as gay and wanted more screentime but Shonda didn't want that (even though she had no problem giving that to the female characters) So he was killed off. Which sucks because TR was amazing as an actor and it would have explained why none of his relationships with women ever panned out and why he felt so different from his brothers.
@@KingofChicago17. yeah but T.R was anxious when he came out that they would write George to be gay just because he was. Changing a character’s sexuality just because the actor came out is kinda weird

I believe they are actually very close friends in real life.
I felt him saying “I wouldn’t have left. I would’ve stayed” was TR. I know he wanted out, but still, it felt more like a TR line than a George line.
