Fun fact: Food Lion is actually the American 'Delhaize'. 'Food Town' was bought by Delhaize in the 70's and became 'Food Lion' in the 80's. So the logo is practically the same for that reason (including the tongue sticking out). I've been watching your video's about Belgium and I think they're really well made. I live in belgium, i was curious of how tourist see the city and i found your video, really enjoyed it almost feel like i don't live in Brussels haha.
Just a quick info, the court session you have seen is actually all the newly graduated lawyers that graduated from law school and that have to come to the Palais in order to take the lawyer's oath in order to have to right to excercise as lawyers.

Sorry but as a Belgian from Brussels I have to step up. If you only have one day in Brussels go to grand place, le grand sablon, châtelain area for drinks, bois de la Cambre is a must too. By the way,..why would you visit the courthouse?

Really cool videos! First time I react on sth but I find them very much worth watching. Btw, in fact you witnessed the swearing-in ceremony of lawyers admitted to the Brussels bar, they can't fit the audience inside the courtroom where it's actually held!

It is indeed the Belgian Food Lion called Delhaize.
I'd argue that Food Lion is the US's Delhaize -- Food Lion is owned by Delhaize.

Note: I actually found out a couple of years ago when searching for a job (in Belgium), that Delhaize also exists in the US under a different name, so yeah, lol.

Food Lion = Delhaize (Belgian)
Do you guys recommend this as a day trip from Paris? It’s an hour 1/2 euro train ride away. When I was in Düsseldorf I considered Brussels and Amsterdam... but of course Amsterdam won.
hugo gonzalez We liked Brussels. It's nice but also kind of grungy (in a good way). Most of the things to do aren't really hands on, or experiences. They are mostly by sight. So if you don't mind walking around observing things then it's a nice place. Definitely make sure you have a tight list mapped out before you go so you're not wasting any time on the ground...
Int Affair ahh. Nah. If you guys know of any interesting day trips within 2-3 hours of Paris Lmk!
