Thanks very much, I'm glad you have found them useful. I started with no prior experience too so I totally understand! Good luck with everything and I hope you continue to enjoy it all.
Thank you very much Lieutenant Hazelwood! I recently joined the ACF at age 17 so only have a years worth of time to spent with the Cadets, so I am trying to get myself up to speed for my detachment. I have been binge-watching your videos and am finding them very helpful! Cheers!
Thanks for the comment! That's great, I'm glad you're finding them useful! Good luck with it all, just make sure to get away on some training weekends to get the most out of your time with the ACF.
Glad I found these, I started as a adult volunteer Instructor just before covid so have not been able to get much training in the basics, these videos are being very helpful in keeping myself motivated and looking forward to when this comes to an end and I can get back to my cadets /friends in the ACF.
No panic my friend, there is plenty to keep me going, did my bic 1 before covid and because of the situation and delays I cannot get on Westminster, so your vids are great to progress my CFIT, and fast track to iic, when this is over. Many thanks for your reply. Nige.
@@stuarthunter2923 They were initially only intended to help get local cadets through lock down a few years back, but they seem to be still going strong which is awesome. Glad you're finding them useful! D
As a CFAV, sourcing reliable information both for oneself and as a training aid can be extremely difficult to find. Like all your written handbooks, these videos are excellent & informative. At last, someone doing a vid on hand signasl stressing they should be given largely with your left hand ie as you'd be holding a weapon. So many vids and printed material use right handed illustrations ! Many thanks.
Your videos are excellent. I have just applied to become CFAV, 20 years after leaving the reserves and they are proving an excellent refresher.. I notice you haven’t made any videos recently, are you planning to extend your library to cover more areas of training? Cheers
Thanks for your comment, I'm glad you've found the videos useful. A lot of the videos were done during lockdown a few years back and were necessary at the time which is why there was a flurry of them. I keep talking about doing more, but it's just about finding the time now. It's on my to-do list so I'm sure I'll get some more done at some point. Good luck with your CFAV training. Dave
Remember people, yes these are useful, but, not everyone is taught them and CAN vary for County to Detachments. Being taught harder, or simpler versions.
@@CadetBooks what the different parts of army cadets are like, what stars do what, and just like basic knowledge of army cadet terminology. What the annual camp is, what happens on the weekends, basic knowledge I suppose
We watched this at my detachment yesterday, incredibly helpful.
Brilliant, glad it helped!
You sir, are an absolute lifesaver. CFAV here, just starting out, no prior forces or cadet experience. You've no idea how helpful this is!
