Really enjoy the fight. This is a tough fight for both of them. Close match. The Germany guy has great boxing steps, defense, and punches, as well as speed and awesome kicks. Most importantly, he's so smart that he learned from his first two falls, hence never let the monk attack his supporting leg while kicking. And whenever the monk kicks one of his legs, he shift his body weight to the other leg. From the second round, you can tell the monk lost his patience and tried to seek a instant KO, and that gave his opponent many chances to throw sets of blow on him who doesn't have solid boxing techniques.

I am just a random idiot, but I loved this fight. Both fighters showed outstanding sportsmanship. I swear the hugs at the end made my eyes itchy. They both fought with honor and respect. I especially love how Mr. Long displayed what I was told real Kung Fu is: You learn everything you can, then when you are in a fight, you must forget everything you learned. For instance, how many classic Kung Fu moves did Long use? Not what you see in the movies. No acrobatics. He molded his actions to the situation he found himself in. Mr. Koch put on a brilliant performance. Steady as an old oak tree. Calculating constantly, a careful yet fierce fighter. Bravo Gentlemen. You can hate on my comment if you like, but remember...I already know I am a random idiot. 🙏🏼

Yi Longs Körper und Geist sind im Einklang. Der zeigt unglaubliche Fähigkeiten. Ich habe noch nie solch eine Energie bei einem Menschen gesehen. Wer sich alle Kämpfe anschaut von ihm könnte denken er ist ein anderes Wesen von einem anderen Stern. Kein Stück aggressiv vor oder nach dem Kampf und absolut fair im Kampf. Dann diese extreme Schnelligkeit. Solch eine Power ist außergewöhnlich und ist nur mit seinem CHI zu erklären. Übrigens er kommt aus China aber er ist schon ein besonderer Chinese .... eben ein Mönch der Shaolin. Die werden da ziemlich verehrt.
Kurz gesagt - er ist besessen. So ist das wenn man sich auf okkulte Kräfte einlässt. Da gibt's noch so einige Kämpfer die auch übermenschlich Schläge hinnehmen und wie Bestien schlagen. Sie haben ihre Seelen diese Kampfgeistern verkauft und der Preis ist zu teuer...

A few hard and straight head punches on Yi Long's head never effect him. You would know that if you are following his fights. Olli has a team. Li Long has a helper. Often he is alone. Happy to see him won in Germany.

Er heisst auch nicht Yi Long, sondern Xingjun Liu. Yi Long ist bloss sein Künstlername. Um hier klugzuscheissen, einfach mal früher aufstehen! Er heisst auch nicht Chinese, das mag wohl richtig sein, aber es ist nun mal seine Nationalität. Warum sollte man ihn also nicht als Chinesen bezeichnen, wenn er dieser Nationalität angehört?! Einen Menschen aus Jamaika sollte man doch auch als Jamaikaner bezeichnen können, oder ist das heutzutage bereits politisch inkorrekt?!!

Yi Long could have stepped it up to another level. Or two. He could have hurt his opponent permanently, but this is only a sporting match. Hats off to both fighters, especially Mr. Koch.

Yi Long kämpft eine Abwandlung von Han Fu/Sanda. Betitel wen wie auch immer du magst, ändert trotzdem nichts an der Tatsache dass das mehr PR ist als alles andere.

Good fight but sometimes poor camera work.
As a germain I am *extremely* embarassed over the shouts in the background and the two guys commenting this. That "I am surprised, that the chinese man has such a poor coverage" was not only unnecessary, but also stupid. It seemed pretty obvious, that Yi Long was mostly in control of that moment. Also (I don't regularly watch these videos nor do I know a lot about boxing or martial arts in general, so please don't take it personal or anything) it looked like he was dodging his opponents hits quite well? I don't see, what they seem to see
Also Yi Long's a shaolin master, they're basically trained to have iron bodys, I suppose he's doing quite well taking hits

thats not real shaolin, because this guy is handicapped by his boxing gloves. So he can't grab his opponent. Also this guy don't uses the "yin yang" techniques, which would allow him to use the energy of the opponent attacks. If there would fight a real shaolin monk, his opponent would be dead or have a broken arm after his first attack. But that wouldn't be fun to watch. Otherwise i don't think a shaolin monk would do this. They only use real shaolin, if they have no other choise.That's Shaolin show, not shaolin fight.
But i have to say, if you watch in detail you can see, that he uses easy methods to get his opponents out of balance. Furthermore his footwork is good and he is using tension and energy with his mind. That's typical Shaolin!

The monk of the temple made it look simple. He had olly for lunch like a chocolate cake. At the temple he would always train hard and then endured al he could take to prove to the world that Shaolin is number one and is nowhere near fake.the story of the monk of these temple will be told for generations!!!!.

French foot fighting "Savate" is a pretty good system of fighting.... And the footwork of fencing is excellent, Bruce Lee used to practice and read books on these two and implemented the footwork in his JKD.
