Bravo girls ! I'm from Paris and i have to tell you that you did so well , you perfectly understood the " Parisien " way of looking at fashion ! Love from FRANCE
Reminded me of my sister and I on our trips to Paris. We took clothes we could both wear and, of course, we shopped in Paris. Pourquoi pas!! Enjoyed your story.
I’m old enough to be your grandmother and found your style ideas very helpful to an older lady like me for my trip this coming June to Paris. Thank you!
Because of this video, I have purchased items from bandolier, quince, and nisolo for my upcoming Paris/London trip. All items have been excellent quality. My new go to travel fashion guides.
Love to see what people wear when travelling thx👍🌸btw love the artwork on the walls behind you!! Most beautiful dress Candy for Versailles💜so nice to see ladies wear dresses in this day and age, speaking from someone your grandmas age too
Thank you for the video! I'll be there at the same time of year you were, so it was helpful to know it will be cool in the morning but hot in the afternoon (especially indoors). I was there at the same time of year over 30 years ago on my honeymoon, and I do remember having beautiful weather!
Me remembering nearly all the bags from the jag collection *LVGUCI* other apartment on the dimond tray.. I think i watched that video like 40 times. Purse collection goals
Just found this now in April '23. Nicely done ladies. You made me wish I were young and taking on Paris again. It has been a minute.😉 Yes, when it gets hot it really tests you. Fortunately you had those great dresses. Thanks for sharing. 🇨🇦🙋🏼♀️🇨🇦
Thank you! Yes, we weren't expecting the heat indoors, but we're spoiled in the States and got used to the AC being blasted everywhere😅 Overall, Paris is wonderful!
I'm planning my visit to Paris for early June 23 so this is extremely helpful. I can't understand what you are saying for the shoe brand you both like. Something Solo? Thanks for clarifying.
Candy! Watched your London videos and ended up going to the science tea. On our Brussels-London-Paris trip this summer. I found you because I was searching travel backpacks and your Pacsafe video came up. They saved us in Paris when on the first day someone tried to get into my mom’s backpack. We were actually there at the same time you were.
Hi!! That's so cool that you went to Science Tea too😀 Oh wow, I can't believe someone actually tried to get into your Mom's bag!! But so glad Pacsafe was able to come to the rescue! That's crazy that we were in Paris at the same time. We felt like EVERYONE was in Paris this summer😂
That's an awesome video! Thank you both for the tips. I'm going in October to Israel, Greece, Venice, Rome, and Paris. I'm 4"11. I wanted to look casual, but elegant....I am disappointed that clothes are usually designed for tall people. Any suggestions? Thanks again
We're glad the tips helped out! Your trip in October sounds amazing!! Hmmm... didn't know that the clothes are usually designed for tall people. Whenever clothes don't fit right, we take it to a seamstress that can tailor it just right for you at a reasonable price.
@Travel Pockets Thank you. I always have to go to pettite sizes. If there is a particular style that I like, I will fix it because I have a sewing machine. but still petite... very few clothes fit me perfectly. Thank you, and blessings!
Hey girls, I just found out this video and is gonna help me so much for my first trip to France (on June 2024)🥹🩵🫶🏻 I appreciate all the details and effort you put in the video… thanks a lot!! 🤗 I can’t wait to prepare all my outfits. You helped me a lot, thank you, again. 🥺🙌🏻🩵🇫🇷
I am in Paris right now. It’s June 25. It was 92 degrees F today. NONE of the clothes I packed can I wear right now. No AC, no window screens, also no clothes dryers. Just a little fyi for what it’s worth.
Wow, really?? It's that hot? The afternoons were definitely hotter when we were there last year, we do remember that. That's when we wore our dresses. Hope it cools down a bit😭
I am currently planning a trip to Paris. Could you share the name of your hotel you stayed at? Thank you for making this video. I definitely will be using these tips and attire ideas. 😊
I love wearing my phone as a crossbody in the states but apprehensive in Europe. I also bought a chain for it so watching this basically confirms it was okay?
May I ask what sandals Candy wore to Versailles? Looking for really comfortable feminine sandals I can do walking tours with in cute dresses. The nisolos look good, but curious what were the ones she used for that segment?
Hi! We don't have the link to the exact sandals Candy is wearing at Versailles, but here's a link to similar sandals that we wear often on our travels and it's very comfortable! amzn.to/432xhPl
Oh that’s great! Were they comfortable enough for all day wear touring the city? I’ll be headed to Spain this summer and need recommendations for very comfortable but cute sandals for walking tours.
@@bianx817 I wore them all day in Versailles and they were comfy, but my feet were definitely tired by the end of the day. The Nisolo sandals are comfier since they have a lot more cushioning.
I went in March jeans( better not distressed) , white button up blouse and better cashmere sweater. Pikolinos booties for walking. Evening I had trousers and nicer blouse. Agl flats. No sneakers trainers in my bag.
Hi, the trench coat is from Anine Bing. I purchased it a while ago, so they no longer sell this exact one however she does have a new trench coat style: fave.co/44Ao0iM
We’re travelling to France and other countries in the Schengen area by mid June and I’m so confused coz June is supposedly summer but lately I’m seeing pictures of people in European countries still wearing cold-weather clothes so I don’t know exactly how many summer clothes and how many cold-weather clothes to bring. 😅
Hmmm... that is tough to decide on what to bring. I do remember the mornings in Europe being pretty chilly in the 60s in June, so having a jacket or cardigan will be good to have for sure.
I'm planning to go to Paris and the UK next fall in September definitely have to plan for various temperatures and rain I've heard I wanna go on the off season to avoid huge crowds everywhere love the outfits you guys wore perfect for Paris.
YES! If you're able to go during off season, that will definitely be best. Especially in Paris. We couldn't believe the amounts of people there!! London was ok tho. So excited for your trip!
Hi Marien! Happy to hear that the video was helpful😀 Yes, we felt safe carrying the camera bag with us in Paris. It's snug against your body, so it would take a lot of effort for a thief to snatch it. But always be aware of your surroundings! We heard so many stories from friends about pickpockets. Luckily, nothing happened to us, but we were always cautious.
Hey !!! I discover your channel for the first time and I’M CHOCKED 😳 !!! …because one of you ( with de blond highlights) looks exactly like a famous French singer!!! I’m French and I would have mistaken you with her in the streets of Paris! We were in Paris this March. I brought very fashionable clothes BUT found I was dressed better than the rest of the women. They were very casual, dressed down, and not fashionable at all.
Are you both working full time? How do you find time to travel international? You both have cute clothes! I am traveling to Paris Rome and Florence in May with my family. 🤍
One of us works full time and it's still possible to travel internationally. Can't do it all the time, but we can fit in maybe 2-3 international trips a year (sometimes more). It's all about managing time the best way :) So excited for your trip to Paris, Rome, and Florence! Have a great time!!

Wow, I'm SO happy to have come across this! Even 2 yeas later.. all still very great suggestions! :)

Thank you ladies. Will be in Paris next month and was confused on what to bring. Simple beautiful pieces.

I also had the Cole Haan shoes last time I was there. It was summer and HOT, but my feet were super comfortable and the shoes went with everything.
So happy to hear that you liked the Cole Haan sneakers just as much as we did! Love that's lightweight too.

Wow fascinating, I was waiting for this couldn’t go to Paris without listening.

Hellooo! this video is super helpful, I have a question, the purse or camera bag that you had, you feel is safe to use in Paris?
Hi Marien! Happy to hear that the video was helpful😀 Yes, we felt safe carrying the camera bag with us in Paris. I'd like to know how you packed all those clothes and shoes! Probably not just carry on?
Definitely not just a carry-on. We took one medium suitcase, one carry-on suitcase, and a backpack.
Amazing mix and match! I love it❤️❤️👍
Thank you so much!💕☺
Great video. Where did you buy the trench coat from?

You're so sweet to say that I look like this cute French singer! This is the first time I heard that☺
I will make sure I bring my neck fan, I can’t deal with all that heat..
Hey can you please guide me, will coats work in july?
A coat may be too hot in July. A jacket will probably be better.
How does it hook to your phone?
The phone goes in a case with D-rings you can hook straps to.
How do you clean your Cole Han sneakers?
I just use water and a paper towel or Magic Eraser works too.
What is the Drop???
Collections on Amazon designed by influencers. Most of the time they are trendsetting pieces.
would like to know where you found the skirt with buttons in front (:
Are you referring to the blue dress? If so, that's from Margaret O'leary🙂
Awesome advice!!
Are you both working full time? How do you find time to travel international? Thanks.
