Not quite sure who this is from Carthage, but thank you for leaving the one nice comment in the sea of hate 😂 we worked very hard on melody shop last year and I'm glad to see someone recognizing it!
This is why in my band who shall remain nameless the directors stress to know where in the music your turn comes. It’s clear there are some really great marchers here but it’s the people who aren’t executing at the same level as others that can cause things like this to happen. Really enjoyed the region performance regardless.
Shame it all fell apart so quickly. We saw Bullard march at the Mineola contest and they did good. Once someone gets off its hard to correct it like that
Good grief that was a disaster after the 6 minute mark. How did this get to state? It sounds fine so you can tell they are talented musicians but it looks like they missed some practice on that drill.
Saying that I was one of the people in this performance. I can say that I was not the best run we have had but you don’t get to say that about a band when you did not practice everyday. I get that people messed up but at least we kept going.

See what happened was on the second turn the leaders all turned in the wrong spot so it lead to the band not have long those straight lines at the end

The musical element was there, but yeah the nerves just got the best of them. There region performance was top tier!
It wasn’t just the twirlers, it was all of us.
From what I could tell there just was not much recovery, it would not of been as bad if there was more recovery
