This song took me back to church. It was deep for me from the day I listened to it. It reminded me of the last day I left church and never went back. It has been close to two years. After listening to it all I needed was to go back and find myself and be with my friends that remained and have stood a taste of time. Today mng I woke up and went to church, it’s been an amazing Sunday service and all my friends welcoming back as this song was still ringing in my mind. I enjoyed the worship session and the message that was preached. I felt I had lost a huge part of my life as I was soaking in to worship. Dear Lord, help me that my love doesn’t fade away with youth😢😢😢 I thank the writer of this song, it has saved a sister😢🫂 bless you all🫂

At 31 I can still feel this way. Let my testimony give our Lord glory. I felt as if I was drowning for years and raised my fist towards God desperately hating my birth. At 25 He visited me and told me the truth. I was as Job but I woke up from that dream with such peace, which is joy that can only be given by the Lord. Just know He is in His Word. His Word will first be read by you, but you realize it's reading you, and me. It shows us the God, maker of heaven and earth, patiently waits for us, and our troubles are not here to last, but He is. All I can say is, don't give up. Even if you do see others turn away from the faith know that they make that decision in their own hearts as well. Yes, God hardened Pharaoh's heart, but Pharaoh hardened his heart against the Lord our God. Discipleship begins with the Holy Spirit. I just wish when I first began seeking God, that I knew that I wasn't supposed to turn the Bible to a certain page, or to a certain verse and suddenly understand the rule book and could follow along. It's the stories that are written that our God so patiently gave to us to remind us that we commit the same sin, and that we forget Him. But He does not forget us. Take heart, and rest in our King. It's a relationship, the one to base our life upon.

I was 32 and I got distracted, went away from the Lord my Savior. Now at almost 45 I’m coming back to this Love that always was waiting for me. Broken but in His hands I will be restored.
