21. Scenic Honister pass from west to east - LAKE DISTRICT BEST RIDES

Enjoy a scenic ride along the Honister Pass from west to east, arguably Britains most scenic road. The road skirts Crummock water and Buttermere with stunning mountain backdrops and errant sheep. At the top of the pass there is the Honister Slate mine where you can brave the via ferrata. The route is breathtaking, and well worth doing in all weathers as it's like doing totally different journey in differing weathers.
