You need to understand Watchman Nees teachings in context, in his book the Spiritual Man he is explaining the operations and functions of the three part being (spirit, soul and body). God created man to be led by his spirit (being led by the Holy Spirit in the spirit) with his soul and flesh submitted under that. So anything that originates from God will come into man’s spirit by the Holy Spirit, watchman nee is teaching how to identify where things originate from. The enemy pushes for man to operate in the soul realm (thoughts, feelings, emotions) this way man will be easily led by self and demons in opposed to the Spirit of God in the spirit of man. So these kind of videos, which are derived from the book The Spiritual Man, are just teaching how to identify where things originate from. Sometimes it’s dangerous to take bits and pieces of a book without understanding it in its entirety. I am currently reading that book for the second time and it’s refreshing to hear snip bits like this, but it is obviously more understandable when you have the foundation of his teachings. If you’re confused by this, I would suggest you purchase or download the book and read it for a full understanding. I hope this helps. Watchman Nee received ALOT of spiritual insight from the Spirit of God which is all scriptural based. We need to learn to walk in the spirit, be led by the Spirit of God and how to identify the operations of the spirit and soul.
