This was easy to understand because of the 2 contrasting colors, in other tutorials I've watched all the hair is the same color usually so I cant tell where the hair is actually being added. Good job 👍🏾👍🏾
Search for a "Dutch" braiding tutorial. The kind of braid you're doing is a "French" braid. They feel really different when braiding so it'll take some practice to get it as good as your French braiding probably is.
Rather than braiding your pieces over top one another, pull them through under one another. Think of your hand movements going in reverse. You can search how to "corn rows" or "dutch braids".
Not a silly question at all. This lasted a week, could be a few days more if you take really good care of it. And the blue hair is synthetic and I wouldnt recommend reusing it. Its $3-$5 for a new pack of it. So its worth it to just buy more.
I braid my sons hair all the time and I use to do it wet but have learned over time that it's much easier dry or barely wet. Let's jam or Murray's works well for him. I gonna ask him if he wants color cause I Wanna practice. Thanks for the tutorial.
Awesome. Thanks for sharing that cream. I use Cantu on my girl's hair but I wanted to try something else. I don't like braiding her hair wet because I feel it breaks or gets a weird smell if she is sweaty. 💜
I'm a white girl and have never used any product on my hair when doing a french braid. it looks like whatever you used will seal it in tight and keep any fly away hairs from popping up. On a side note , crimping white girl hair with a crimping iron will give it tons of poofy texture if you ever want to do a thick, fluffy french braid that stays well without product. great video
I had to return to thank you for this tutorial . I tried to count how many pieces you added and got 14 ? I love the was you began to add the blue and then mixed in the blonde 💕💙✨✨💕💕 . I appreciate all the people commenting and standing up against people are claiming this as cultural appropriation or assuming she wants to be black.. first off she is a little girl or young lady and is not old enough to understand cultural appropriation which means she is not committing that. For instance where I grew up in California I was the only "white" girl in my neighborhood and I had this best friend who would always have colorful braids and her mom would do amazing hair, so I would come over and get feed in braids and little clips on the ends and my best friends family and the others in my neighborhood never once made me feel like I did something wrong, i appreciated the way she did my hair and the style of hair. In this day in age we take from every culture not claiming it's ours but taking from it as in saying omg I love braids I want to get them done not "let me go get my hair braided and let black women know this is my shit not yours" like no! I understand if someone is doing something and you feel hmm maybe that's cultural appropriation why don't you ask them first before judging, ask why did you decide to do this from this culture and allow them to explain their love for it. Just because we get weaves or braids or anything also doesn't mean we want to black it means I want my fucking hair to be bomb af! Lol. I love all races and I hate how divided we all are. Like I said earlier I grew up with mainly black people around me and I got to see how they grew up and their culture and I admired it. So give people who are "white" a chance to admire it to before jumping to a conclusion so hurtful.
I agree , but black people go wrong when they claim braids for them selves . Braids we're ORIGINATED in Africa and spread out to other cultures , like China, Europe , Spain etc. Braids we're a way for African people to hold there hair and grow it out , and they didn't care if other cultures borrowed their originality. Now black people r selfish claim braids for them selves, like yes every body now a days think box braids and "feed in braids" w Extensions are only for black people, I mean they were but now I feel like anyone can do what ever they want to there hair no matter what race or ethnicity. PERIODT .
Black people are used to other people stealing aspects of their culture. I do agree though. There needs to be a bit more patience and understanding. As long as they appreciate the culture and where it comes from....
Love it! I also love the details about what products to use on straight hair. I've had people ask could I braid their hair (haven't) but I wouldn't have known to use an edge control to make it tacky. 👌🏾
this is so perfect imagine that you helped me a lot I will try this method ! In my country even in Brussels im trying to find someone who can braid me like that !!! !!
Some of you are looking for something to cry cultural appropriation. This is one of the last styles I see as appropriating. The line is crossed at box braids and trying to achieve the 3c-4c look.
I've seen tutorials on box braids for straight hair..and they come out nice in my opinion. There really is no lime crossed unless someone openly tries to offend someone else
ya I think the line is where there are hairstyles are meant for hair care or to tame it for the specific hair texture and thickness, but it’s their hair so they can do whatever they want to it. It’s not a big deal.
The only culture you'll see people getting mad for others trying there things are Africans americans.... but then y'all get mad when you don't get enough recognition and respect.... like hellooo! You guys push everyone that tries to learn your culture away!!! And create a riot over people trying a hairstyle.... I'm from Loiza Puerto Rico one of the most African culture cities in the whole island and we constantly show our culture to everyone and appreciate when we see tourist trying our African dances, trying on African head scarfs and there's the fair skin Puerto Ricans that can pass as white getting African hairstyle (box braids, regular braids, dred locs, faux locs) and you don't see us making a riot over shit like that... it shows us that people really appreciate our culture and history
So when adding hair you grad one piece of hair and add piece to the middle braid and the other half (piece) on the braid to the right and keep braiding? IDK what I'm doing wrong. When I was hair and start braiding, hair falls on the floor.
kamaury badboy6 you grab 3 strands of hair then twisted aroind. so I know it is hard for braiding just watched and learn Ok. and it's ok that u don't know what you're doing.
Wow you add the fake hair in so easy I’m totally going to try this even tho my hair is super curly 😎. Her hair is so beautiful and I loved how the hairstyle came out
I appreciate you leaving the hair dry, seems there’s more breakage when the hair is tied tight while wet since when it dries it shrinks up. Also, flyaways are better managed this way as well.
This is pretty - really pretty. I'd get my hair done like that, I've wanted braids like that for a long time. Now though, with how some people are, I'm nervous to do it. Plus I don't know where to go or who is good/bad/ect. It's really lovely.
The trick to grabbing slippery hair is to use a little non sticky gel and water. Comb it from root to tip when it dries and that gives the hair texture. Used to do this at Pivot Point. Bc if you aren't a pro, using edge control just leaves it a stringy and greasy mess
I love the diversity of how you braid all different types of hair textures and demostrate how to braid it
Thanks, Its good to hear that people support. I know it turns a lot of people off, but I do work with all hair textures!

I recently purchased this in hombre and pastels ✨💙💜💖 and my lovin patient nieces are so excited to have me do this style 🙏🏼✨💋 Thank you 👍🏼🕊🙌🏻 You Have Talent ❤️💖💕✨
Can you reuse the added hair? So let’s say you have the feed In braids for a week, when you take it out can you keep the blue hair and reuse it for next time?
I would probably just throw it away and buy another pack of blue hair. It usually only costs a few dollars for the pack.
def blown away by your choice of music!!! not most people know of him!!!! i instatly recognized his voice!!!!!!!

Petty oh my freakin gosh
Or oh my fucking god
Those colors went beautiful together 😍😍
I love these braids !!! I just feel like my forehead too big sometimes so I’m so insecure about some hair styles on me 🙄☹️
Thank you so much for thia video! I've been wanting to wear my hair in braids like these for so long but after having my daughter it has thinned out a ridiculous amount. I'm dying to try this!
Holly Olivarez I don’t think anyone’s too young to understand cultural appropriation
PERIODT .
Yeah and I think we should share cultures because black people do things that white people did way before the
Black people are used to other people stealing aspects of their culture. I do agree though. There needs to be a bit more patience and understanding. As long as they appreciate the culture and where it comes from....
@@kimberylnstorymaster6965 well, you still have to respect the cultures in which things come from.
Love it! I also love the details about what products to use on straight hair. I've had people ask could I braid their hair (haven't) but I wouldn't have known to use an edge control to make it tacky. 👌🏾
ur so good at it
Thank you 😘
I really enjoyed your tutorial. My daughters Thank You as well. I was able to do their hair and it turned out beautiful!
AMAZING!
I didnt even care about the topic of the video... it was just so satisfying to watch the perfect braids
Was I the only one yelling "DONT MOVE YOUR HEAD" 😂
Looks good
I've been telling my mom that i want the exactly same braids that she is getting! they look great
Nicely done!
this is so perfect imagine that you helped me a lot I will try this method !
I’ve had box braids 🤗 my friend maya mom did them
Kinzie Leonard oh god
I love your braiding skills on different kinds of hair😍
So when adding hair you grad one piece of hair and add piece to the middle braid and the other half (piece) on the braid to the right and keep braiding? IDK what I'm doing wrong. When I was hair and start braiding, hair falls on the floor.
kamaury badboy6 lol the same thang be happing to me too.
Yeah it's like I'm missing a step. Help
kamaury badboy6 you grab 3 strands of hair then twisted aroind. so I know it is hard for braiding just watched and learn Ok. and it's ok that u don't know what you're doing.
Wow you add the fake hair in so easy I’m totally going to try this even tho my hair is super curly 😎. Her hair is so beautiful and I loved how the hairstyle came out
Maybe. Different angle would have better? I honestly couldn’t see anything. Or understand it lol
I have a feed in braid tutorial on my channel with better angles.
Factssss
You couldn’t understand the tutorial??? Hmm sis that’s on you!! What u bitter abt??
DOPEaxxPANA ok
sophia sample she’s not bitter.
These braids are gorgeous on this girl! Slay girllll!
Looks nice and on point 😍
Jade Blue thanks 😘
Everything about this video is beautiful
I can't even braid properly and you're doing straight hair BTW I love. Her braids
Thanks! It just takes practice and a good grip lol
I love watching hair vidoes. Its so relaxing
Awwww thanks ! I appreciate the support.
I appreciate you leaving the hair dry, seems there’s more breakage when the hair is tied tight while wet since when it dries it shrinks up. Also, flyaways are better managed this way as well.
Is the hair you adding all the same size
Lovelymonae 29 no she starts with braiding her natural hair first then start with adding small strands to big strands as she braids along
your exactly right! start with small pieces and towards the end they get bigger!
DopeAxx Pana yes i am also a hair braider but i also watch your tutorial for further ideas and training with hair gripping techniques
Your videos are so thorough. I thank Jesus for you 🤗
Her hair look nice, she has very thin hair 👍 job
This is pretty - really pretty. I'd get my hair done like that, I've wanted braids like that for a long time. Now though, with how some people are, I'm nervous to do it. Plus I don't know where to go or who is good/bad/ect. It's really lovely.
What is this song i love it
Michael Blackmon still got time zayn
+Michael Blackmon Still Got Time (Cover) by Corey Nyell
The trick to grabbing slippery hair is to use a little non sticky gel and water. Comb it from root to tip when it dries and that gives the hair texture. Used to do this at Pivot Point. Bc if you aren't a pro, using edge control just leaves it a stringy and greasy mess
Perfect Bre!!!
+BraidsByNetNet Thanks Net 😘😘 miss you girl !
Thank you! My daughter always asks for braids for softball but her hair is slippery this helps!
You're so so welcome.
