I'm looking to buy one of these for dethatching my lawn for overseeding. For those leaves, I bought an agrafab leaf vac. It's probably the best thing I've ever bought. I just mow as the leaves fall. Does a great job.

Will have to check out the leaf vac. I spent a ton of time this past year mowing them and actually blew the radiator on my smaller Massey tractor. Need a better solution for sure. For dethatching and also light driveway maintenance this thing works well.

@HardyBrothersOutdoors you'll love a leaf vac. I keep mine hooked to my ztr mower all fall. I just now unhooked it. I found mine on the marketplace for 700, but it was like new.

I think one of those might be useful to use before frost seeding to help with the seed to soil contact.

Yep I agree. I’m hoping to run it over a clover field this week and get some seed down.

id thought about buying one of these for a while, but dethatching the lawn was the only thing i thought was useful for it..if the lawn was bigger than the 1/2 acre id buy it...currently i have a smaller john deere dethatcher as us it on my 1025r...

Yeh I will probably hit the whole yard and dethatch as well. I saw Courtney on GoodWorks Tractors doing leaves, driveway and clearing trails. I think it will be a useful attachment.

I’m not there to throw a tape on it but I think it’s 2”.

Leaves are the reason I took the wheels and handle off my 9HP little wonder leaf blower and attached it to my forks on the 2038R. I can blow leaves and sticks out of my nearly 6 acres of lawn and into the woods in a couple of hours. You can't believe the blowing power of that little wonder. I stay away from the truck cause it may blow the chrome
    off the hitch ball lol
You don't want to make any wrong turns tho or you may have to start all over hehehe

I'd like to see that set up. I'm definitely in need of a better solution for leave cleanup. I have one of those pull behind grass sweepers and it fills up immediately... but I may have to give that a go this year due to the mess I left for myself.

@@HardyBrothersOutdoors It works like a champ and actually would be perfect on the 1025r because of the maneuverability factor. I do it the hillbilly way lol I attach it with ratchet straps

That looks like a useful tool, for sure. I was curious how well your tree protectors have held up to the winter and weather in general. Ours got rubbed by a lot of deer and seem to have degraded some dur to sun's UV rays. Keep up the great videos!

Other than falling over because we used wood stakes off the sawmill they are holding up. I’d you have tree tubes from Tree Pro there was a recall on some tubes that were degrading prematurely. If you have theirs check out the website or I think I also saw it on Morse Nursery’s page. Thanks for watching!
