I tried a George - it poured quite flat - not sure if it was because the room T was 18 OR it’s a faulty printer OR I kept To the 5L volume … Good to expt tho esp if you’re only pouring away £7.50 Might try it again one day but MJ next and homemade cider One day I’ll Get this right!
@@brendanfox8945 That’s a shame. At 18c fermentation takes longer. And with the 2.5g yeast provided, this would require further additional time. So, probably 2 weeks + fermentation required to get the job done. I went with room temp of 22c and 6g yeast with no issues to report. Fermentation 9 days.
Awaiting a George’s Pilsner (+MJs) and I’m going to try it with the yeast provided and just do the 5L…. I know it’s 8 pints in a 10 pint system… will it be as carbonated as intended or less as there’s more unfiltered volume? Looking forward to seeing you doing a proper Czeck pilsner :-)
@@brendanfox8945 You’ll be fine with the 2.5g yeast, just consider giving it an extra day or two. No issues with carbonation, it was spot on. 🍻 I will definitely put a Czech Pilsner on my shopping list. Do you have one you recommend?
@@PinterBeerChef I’m just googling at the moment but seems they’re all 23L /40 pint packs - so either I’ll get AlL 3 of my Pinters working OR I’ll Try and split a pack as you’ve already demonstrated. Lived in Germany for 7 years - loved the pils … later on I discovered proper Czech pils- delicious!!! Wheat beer is another project …. For another day. Thanks for the vids and the knowledge btw
@ Hi Jon, I have the IPA sitting here ready for action but I’m caught up in the chaos of moving house at the moment! Hopefully get it brewing this Sunday and will get the video out as soon as the results are in 🍻

@@PinterBeerChef set mine going tonight, went for the 5l plus the lme and 100g beer enhancer, have a heat belt set to 21 🤞
@ It’s a good idea adding 100g of enhancer if going for the extra volume 😎 I use different yeast with the George’s kits too.
