I want to congratulate brother Abu Taymiyyah for firstly parting ways with certain toxic people who are stuck in partisanship and are continuing to cause fitnah and disunity in the Ummah. For this brothers eyes became opened and his heart and soul became conflicted for being in such company. Now this wonderful brother is trying to educate others stuck in a similar rut. He is trying to educate the intolerant to become more tolerant and those stuck in a cultist mentality to come out of that. It is hard to open the eyes of the blind but we can certainly do our best and this brother is doing wonderful work MashaAllah.

Thank you!!! Finally show this to our brothers who disregard any sort of madhab and claim to only follow sunnah without any knowledge regarding sunnah. There’s a reason Allah Al Kareem w Al Hakeem preserved Islam through their madhabs, because the madhabs only follow ahl sunna. People all of a sudden want to disregard them because they went to a few lectures and watched a few TH-cam videos or heard a shaykh say something opposing them. These Imams were blessed by Allah for a reason don’t forget that ya ikhwani

Wiping the neck in the madhab is mustahab. It is not classed as sunnah due to the type of evidence
“Talhah ibn Musarif narrated from his father, from his grandfather who said, ‘I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wiping his head once up to his nape.’” - Abu Dawood, 132 [Weak].
This Hadith is weak according to Imam Ibn Hajr al-Asqalaani:
What Ahmad and Abu Dawood narrated from the Hadith of Talhah ibn Musarif from his father, from his grandfather that he saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wiping his head up to the nape, and what is after it at the beginning of neck. Its chain is weak, as has been mentioned. (al-Talkhees al-Habeer).

Secondly, a layman when he sees a sahih hadith he doesnt know if its applicable since he hasnt encompassed the field of ilm i.e not a mujtahid so he is taught to do taqleed which is relie on the research of scholars. A sahih hadith is usually the statement of the prophet ‎ﷺ but the issue is, layman doesnt know if its abrogated, or is it specific to a situation or applicable at all times, is theres ikhtilaf on the narrators nor does he know are there 2 sahih hadith conflicting and one is preferred over the other based upon a principle etc....

I find this disgusting anyone who had read any works of the Salaf knows how wrong this sounds.
The Salaf were unjust and did not know the correct statements from the incorrect ones (If this is true how are we suppose to trust them in their knowledge of Hadith?); The Modern Salafis recognized the statements about Abu Hanafi which are right and wrong after 1100 years. (fact, I can cite modern Salafis that composed books about this subject that cite the Salaf's words against Abu Hanafi)
The Salaf did not know that these statements were incorrect; they judged in ignorance and nonsense, and these statements were mentioned in doctrinal books of the Salaf. What is astonishing is that despite this, consensus is cited after the words of the Salaf, stating only good, beautiful, and praise-worthy things about Abu Hanafi, contrary to what the Salaf said.
Glory be to Allah, how can there be consensus after the words of the Salaf, contrary to what they said? The tragedy is that the Salafis say that the Salaf school of thought stabilized and became established in the sixth and seventh centuries.
Glory be to Allah, how our later scholars are confused and contradictory in this matter; each of them has interpretations and patchwork flimsy arguments solely to defend Abu Hanifa, may Allah have mercy on him.
It's just loose talk that the ignorant consider as knowledge; it's just fantasies invented to escape the criticism of Abu Hanifa, and by their doing they have made it necessary for criticizing the Salaf for their ignorance.
Believing that they were wrong, unjust, unfair, and unstable until the later scholars came, settled the issue for them, corrected their injustice, and confronted it. All of this is merely for the sake of contemporary taste and defending a specific individual who has followers and a sect."
