I lived in Japan for 10 years, this is not a Japanese house. This is an American house with westernized Japanese elements and a lot of round mirrors. The round footbridge at the entrance is cliché. Nice waterfall though.
I could tell this wasn't an authentic traditional Japanese home almost instantly, due to the American fixtures, outlets, and other materials and conventions.
