In my humble opinion, I feel like this is one of their best but most underrated songs. One More Time, Around the World, Get Lucky, and Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger are probably their most famous, but I think this one is a gem, hands down. Evocative, funky, deep, and timeless. I really wish this song would have been mixed on the Alive 2007 album.

Technically it was. If you listen to their Alive remix Rappel/Human After All/Together/One More Time it has this song's rhythm in it. You just can't hear cause it's too quiet. I think it's also in Too long/Steam Machine or something like that idk
People say this and other Discovery songs are underrated but you all need to remember that this is literally one of the most acclaimed albums not only in house or electronic music but music in general. You do not get that love if people don't think every track on it is amazing. So yes, you can go sleep well tonight, tomorrow and further knowing this masterpiece is not underrated.

Six day after being married, my wife unexpectedly passed away. She was surrounded by myself and her immediate family at her cottage. Yeah I transcribed it to a real bass and its actually super complicated! All sorts of really cool fills and little sincopation nuances! Also musically the chromatic walk down is brilliant.
When I was obsessed with Daft Punk, I remember hearing this at Downtown Disney. My parents insisted it wasn't a Daft Punk song. But as soon as heard the bass, it was over. I made them stay the few minutes so I could dance.

There’s something about this song that draws me back
This song and the video put together is just too perfect. Them driving along the empty landscapes, past the mountains, the waterfall and with the perfect guitar bass in the background gives me chills everytime i see this video and hear this song :)
Almost all bass lines got the respective diminish tone of scale, this album is so legendary to me. Got so many details, progression converted, beautiful and deep way to make music so exquisite!
Probably my favorite Daft Punk song ever, i never get tired of that bassline and that synth at the end
