Watching this match it’s evident how far GCon has improved, but I also got the sense that Ken could’ve made this 7-0 if he wanted to; at some points in the match he almost seemed disinterested.
Nah, GCon started the set swinging and won the first 2 games convincingly. Ken took some time to adjust. Even the last game of the set Gcon dropped a magneto combo and only then did Ken's sentinel get a break.
I feel like Ken is only really trying when he plays MSS or MSP, at least magneto somewhere in the team. At 37 reloaded only in grand finals did he play MSS vs Duc but for the rest of the tourney he was playing spiderman. Pretty sure he’s bored 90% of the time in all other games
2D backgrounds are so much better, the imbalance of the cast, the crusty 3D textures removing mp/mk buttons, etc mvc2 could've been untouchable across the board, great game but it has its flaws
