I am poor and I actually only get books I know I'll enjoy because I've read them or because I've been super hyped for them, so my shelf is small but I don't need to get rid of any book, which on the other hand is awesome, because I don't stress over it XD
what i try to do is either reading a ebook sample and see if i am interested in reading it or read it in e book and then if i love it i buy it in print copy
You should read the book called Room, which was based on the movie several months ago. It is so good. It is about a 5 year old boy named Jack (the book is in his perspective) and his mother who is trapped in a small room for five years.
my TBR is like 200 books but thankfully most of them are on my kindle so i don't really notice them as much lol... however i did create a collection that i put books in that I'm just no longer interested in reading but if ever get my TBR under control i might read them... the ones i really don't want to read anymore i delete. I also want to do what you want to do though read my pile and keep it at ones i can read quicker and not lose interest in them.
If you live by a small library, you might want to donate them there. I'd call first and see if they will accept them. Smaller libraries don't have big budgets, and then lots of people would benefit from your generous donation.
I don't know if you will see this because this video is older, but I just noticed your calendar in the background and had to mention it! I absolutely love one direction and have the same one!
Still Life With Tornado by A.S. King is fantastic if you're looking to give her stuff a second chance. I haven't read anything else by her but that is probably one of my favorite books of all time.
I've heard amazing things about Everybody sees the Ants, I think It's her most popular book. I would say give it a go, maybe the first couple of chapters and see how you feel :)
Please please please give The Impossible Knife of Memory a chance!! I loved it a lot a lot and always recommend it to people. If you liked Laurie Halse Anderson's other books, you'll like this ten times more! It is my favorite book for her and I think you will really enjoy it! And I usually agree with all your book preferences, so I'm telling you this because I think you would actually really enjoy it(:
I wish to someday have zero tbr books on my shelves as well but I think that's going to take years as I'm always buying new books and borrowing half of my reading from the library :D it is the goal though ;)
This is one I know took a while to get used to personally is reading through audio books. The experience is different but you can read in almost any situation that way!
I always bring my book with me where ever I go. So if I am waiting at doctor's office, on lunch break, waiting in between classes, etc I can just pull out my book to occupy my time.
A Song for Ella Gray was one of the worst books I have ever read so don't worry - you're not missing out on much there! And I also have The Treatment sitting on my shelf to read . I loved The Program and want to continue the series but like you said, the first book ended well enough that I wouldn't really mind not picking the sequel.
I know a good bit of people liked The Impossible Knife of Memory, but I couldn't stand that book! The characters and their decision making process were so frustrating!
i wanted to let you know that i'm reading lux series right now (don't even know if you like it) and it's strange but i picture you as katy 😄 maybe because i first saw your videos when i started the series))))
I recently read The Program and The Treatment, and while I really enjoyed The Program, the Treatment was really slow and just overall meh. You won't be missing much.
Hailey don't get rid of Everybody Sees the Ants!!! It's amazing it's one of my favorite books I'm not a big fan of Please Ignore Vera Dietz either but Everybody sees the Ants is so much better I promise you!! 😭
Hi hailey! I love your videos, your quide to booktube helped me jumpstart my channel! 😄 I was wondering, were you planning on participating in the #diversathon? I was just wondering you may not have heard of it though.💖
Everybody Sees the Ants isn't that great, in my opinion. If you didn't like Vera Dietz, you probably won't like Everybody Sees the Ants. Unhauling books feels so therapeutic for me. Great video. :)
Don't worry, my TBR is currently around the 125 mark, not including ful series. It is so intimidating lol.....I really need to stop buying so many books lol
I love watching unhauls but me, myself can't get rid of any of my books 😜
Try reading the Konmari book.
I hope you give The Impossible Knife of Memory a chance. I read it back in March and it's easily one of the best books I've read this year.

You should definitely read the Impossible Knife of Memory. I personally loved it!! Love your videos!!
i read the impossible knife of memory, i think you should try to read it because i enjoyed it. the way she depicts mental illnesses are just amazing.
so glad you updated two vids today, love them both!
thanks Hailey for your effort for uploading two videos today! you really motivate and excite me to read 📖 😄
Reality Boy is sooo good! I read it my freshman year of high school and I absolutely loved it.
I just read 'The Impossible Knife ..." It was my first Andersen book and I enjoyed it. Certainly sheds a very important light on PTSD.
OMG 2 videos in a day? 😍
both of the videos were really interesting!! also your hair looks lovely like that :-)
Your Canadian accent is absolutely wonderful, you have such a lovely voice xx

this video should be called donating books with beautiful covers

My local libraries don't accept donations/are on strike currently anyways
Wow, that's just awful.
Loved this video, my tbr is only on 11 at the minute and I'm trying to get it to zero this year.
happy to have found this cannel!
I don't know if you will see this because this video is older, but I just noticed your calendar in the background and had to mention it! I absolutely love one direction and have the same one!

you should try listening to The Impossible Knife of Memory. I listened to it and it was pretty good.

I promise the treatment is totally worth it!!

My TBR consists of 4 books 😂
You SERIOUSLY need to read the Seeds of America trilogy by Laurie Halse Anderson. It is seriously one of The best books I have ever read
Watching you unhaul A.S. King actually hurt my heart a little. 😂
Same, Reality Boy was just sooo good
I plan on doing an unhaul at the end of the year!
I wish to someday have zero tbr books on my shelves as well but I think that's going to take years as I'm always buying new books and borrowing half of my reading from the library :D it is the goal though ;)
Do you have any tips on how to make time to read, or books to read when you are very busy?
This is one I know took a while to get used to personally is reading through audio books. The experience is different but you can read in almost any situation that way!
I always bring my book with me where ever I go. So if I am waiting at doctor's office, on lunch break, waiting in between classes, etc I can just pull out my book to occupy my time.
She made a video about this topic and it was very helpful to me :)
My TBR is like 10 books :O

Great video! Also, do you plan on doing a Live stream with Q&A's anytime?
I have a question: do YOU re-read your books?
I love your top! Where is it from?
My Goodreads TBR was like 1000+ books and I deleted them all.
2 videos in one day.. cool
I would love (if you could ) a review on am I normal yet by holly bourn I think it would be great to hear your thoughts
I love your videos! you are awesome!
Where did you get the lights on your bookshelf?
Love your top!
where are you choosing to donate them? Ps. what does your tattoo mean?
Why is The Love that Split the World controversial? I can't find anything online about it.
Isn't this your third unhaul? I just watched another one titled like this one
I recently read The Program and The Treatment, and while I really enjoyed The Program, the Treatment was really slow and just overall meh. You won't be missing much.
I actually loved Reality Boy I read it twice like in row
Reality Boy is great!
if i buy and pay the shipping, is it possible? :P
Hailey don't get rid of Everybody Sees the Ants!!! It's amazing it's one of my favorite books I'm not a big fan of Please Ignore Vera Dietz either but Everybody sees the Ants is so much better I promise you!! 😭

Love your vids. ❤
My tbr contains 71 books 😭 that's not even including full series 😩
Don't worry, my TBR is currently around the 125 mark, not including ful series. It is so intimidating lol.....I really need to stop buying so many books lol
I didn't like Extraordinary Means either!! Felt like a failed John Green attempt
I liked it because I felt like it was a much better version of TFIOS
Well she made a much better book than John Green. Even though I really enjoy The Fault in Our Stars, Extraordinary Means is way better.
I know! I tried to get into it, after I read the beginning of everything by the same author but the plot just flopped
Hi!
Hey
You've inspired me to purge.
Everyone here should go check out adashofash she's amazing also a book tuber btw ily hailey
legend says if you're early she replies
she doesn't
U don't know that
I think she's got so little time to actually reply to everyone, which is sad because I did send a note a few weeks ago
She also has classes this semester
+Kenedeigh Goins yo shut up because she replied to someone on her other video . she can do it anytime I'm the top comment
