Awesome to be able to watch the documentary after hearing the stories from my brother who is one of the co directors of Kosamare who helped with the clean up. So glad this was cleaned up!
@@HealthySeas I wish I could help more than sitting on my ass watching a video. And I'm sorry I can't help with money I am on fixed income. I was a sous vide an employee for the Canadian Navy a group of us started their oil spill clean up party and contingency plans. I have spent basically my whole life on the ocean and many years working on the ocean research vessel. I think what you guys are doing is amazing and that's what it's going to take his people like you to stand up and just start doing it. I was wondering if you knew about Cape Flattery we're for the last few hundred years the Americans and Canadians and who knows who else have been dumping munitions chemicals weapons in this spot I was also told by a engineer that they dumped chemical weapons the chemicals were stored in 45 gallon drums and they just dumped them over the side. Sorry for the long comment.
@@jbrobertson6052 Thank you for taking the time and writing us! It's great to hear from our community and what moves you! From what we can tell you have done the oceans a great service already by cleaning up oil spills and working towards their prevention and better management. That is a HUGE contribution. Little changes in our everyday life also sum up to be a great change over the course of a lifetime. Using less single-use plastics, being aware of seafood choices and energy consumption are small steps into the right direction as well. The situation at Cape Flattery is news to us. How shocking!
