Before Jesus, people are save by the law unfortunately no man on the face of the earth has ever fulfilled the law only Jesus Christ fulfilled the all the Law. Therefore by the love of the God we are saved by Grace through Jesus Christ whom God has sent who took away the punishment of the sin of all mankind on the cross to provide the only way of salvation for all mankind. Just repent from your sin and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and and stop arguing about being good or have more knowledge over something because there is only ONE WAY, AMEN.

Jesus said he did not come to destroy the law.
He did not say he has not come to change the law.
Destroy and change mean different things.

Jesus amended the law and explained it better.
For example the law says thou shall not commit adultery but Jesus amended it by saying if a man looks at a woman with lust, he has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
About eating or drinking of anything.
Jesus made it clear that it is not what we eat or drink that defiles us, or is sin, but the evil thoughts and behaviour that comes from our hearts.
