Oh what a coincidence! I was experimenting this past weekend with my 2 bracelets (5 motifs) and i connected them together. I thought it was really a good idea because it helps to stay my bracelet in place. Less movement from my wrist.😊

I have had my 5 motif for a bit longer than a year now and I haven't had it resized because my wrist is tiny and if I resize my bracelet, all 5 motifs would be too close to each other and the original design is lost. The dangling motif doesn't bother me at all because it's always stay at inner wrist and since it adds a bit of a weight, the bracelet doesn't turn and move thus the clasp is not showing at all on the outer wrist. Your bracelets are still close to the original design after resizing so it's all good. I find out that most US vca stores asks clients to resize probably for fear of clients keep returning the items. Anyway, I have tried the 15 motif look and I like it, 20 motif is way too long for my torso so by not resizing, I can link my 5 to a 10 to wear it as a longer necklace.
That's a great point, thank you for sharing! I didn't know that a dangling motif keeps the bracelet from flipping upside down, which makes sense.

Hope you will feel better soon. Your cat biting your guillochet bracelet almost gave me heart attack, lol ! I had a question about your chalcedony though : I heard that the stones loose their colour with time, that they become whiter, do you know of that is true ?!

Thank you very much! She is very gentle haha :) I don't know if chalcedony becomes whiter over time. Mine is over 2 years old and I keep it in the pouch when I don't wear it. When I do, however, I sleep, cook, and wash my hands in it, and water gets on it all the time, and so does the soap for weeks on end. I actually prefer this stone milkier, lighter, and more opaque instead of translucent (that's the shade I chose, because it contrasted with my skin and made my tan stand out). So I wouldn't mind that, but it didn't happen, it looks like new :)
