Hi is it safe to drive till the bhadra wildlife sanctuary... What if car breaks down or something... We are visiting Chikmagalur next week and so wanted to inquire about it
Hello I am from Odisha.Want to do a roadtrip in south India for 18 to 19 days maximum with my wife.I have a Honda city and did a roadtrip to vizag and Araku valley recently.I want to go to Hyderabad(explore two days),then Hampi(two days)then Gokarna, Murudeshwar,Jog falls, then to Udupi, then Chikmangalur.Go to Bengaluru, take one day break, then proceed to Pondicherry and then Rameswaram. Then return to Bhubaneswar via Chennai and Vizag. I am just going through all your travel vlogs and love all your informative videos. We will also bring our one year old cat ,so will stay in pet friendly hotels/resorts.Also we have visited Munnar, Thekkady and Allepey,so won't be going to Kerela. And have been to Goa two times. And once to Kodaikanal some years back. 1)Do you think 18/19 days will be sufficient to do this.Any other suggestions or places to exclude from itinerary. 2)Is a sedan good to drive for all places mentioned in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu?Just skeptical as it has low ground clearance. 3)Any idea how pet friendly is Karnataka?
Thank you so much. Plan looks good but 18/19 days are not enough to cover all these places. Hope these 18/19 days exclude inward and return journey. 1. Hyderabad - 2days 2. Hampi - 2-3days (exclude Sunday) 3. Gokerna - 2days 4. Murudeshwar - 1day 5. Jog falls - 1day(exclude if travelling in winters) 6. Udupi - 2days(must visit St. Mary’s Islands) 7. Chikmagalur -2days 8. Sakleshpur -1day(include in your itinerary) 9. Bengaluru and return. Keep Pondicherry and other places down south for another trip. will be fine with pets in Karnataka.
