I sure appreciate your (old school) trucking and content sharing. Greetings from the Netherlands from a retired Dutch trucker. Stay safe and enjoy trucking... (I miss it)
Grantville guy here. It’s crazy to me that people call valley falls “out west”. 😂 more like dead center. Either way, kinda cool when TH-cam celebrities come through the neighborhood.
Love the old pictures. We had brick roads in our towns, north of Wilkes Barre, PA. They were nice, except when it was winter. When water from melting snow froze, it was pure ice.
Dude the editing with the song choice at 11:28 is wild!! Steve you're editing skills amazes me. It's just unexpected from somebody who bangs gears in a truck to see you now and again do these things with editing that's truly remarkable. Pretty cool man.
this is Jesse i sent this video to friends who lives there. And they was like hell we know those guy's. And i guess they sent them the video. Cause i get a text and they was like that was cool seeing us on somebody's Youtuve video. We will be heading that direction when we leave Washington State. We dropped stuff off in Alaska. And visited friend's who live there when they had time to hang out and have fun. We are heading to Oregon. And possibly find a load to go to Kansas.
You were in my neighborhood. I love living in NE Kansas, close enough to Kansas City to take advantage of its perks , plus if you like to hunt and fish there are 6 nice reservoirs within an hour drive of Topeka. We tend not to have the long droughts like western Kansas and we have lots of trees, hills and valleys, so not flat like everyone thinks. Really enjoy your channel and seeing Orwell putting in the work. Thanks for sharing your time and adventures with us. Stay safe. Peace
That round hitch in the rear is actually used for hooking up to a chip spreader for "oil and stone" road surfacing. The chip spreader is pulling the truck backwards as the operator dumps the stone into the machine.
That's cool you had a pick up in Ks. I love old towns and they're history. I live in Ks and love to travel. This got me interested in a road trip. Safe travels Steve.
Hey Steve! You were just in my neck of the woods - wish I'd have known that, I'd have loved to have seen Orwell in live action. I go by that Love's every day to and from work. Safe driving, Brandt from Topeka.
wish i wouldve known you were here i wouldve loved to come see the truck i only live like 2 miles from that truck stop lol and im sorry you had to deal with my city's roads
Great video Steve nice old time little town red brick street like main street in my home town of Shelton Nebraska. Looking forward to your next video stay safe Steve.
Don't see those air craft carrier looking elevator towers to much any more. They are massive, what they hold. Grain, sugar, powder flour, non food powder like substance or something. Valley Falls, looks like something out a western movie, only thing missing is the dirt, tumbleweeds, horse and carriages. Wow, look at those pictures. So many decades the town is still there
This reminds me of my home town of Crystal City, MO (I still live close by but not IN town any more) the town was Named after the Crystal Glass Company before PPG Baught them out then PPG closed its doors the factory is gone now, but the admin building & Hospital are still standing just reproupsed
I bet you slept good that night, you got a workout with that load for sure. I need to design a hydrolic or pneumatic system for that style of trailer to make work life a little easier.
Always funny seeing Americans think somewhere is old, though I guess it is all relative. The small town in the UK I live in was granted a charter to hold a weekly market in 1204 and 820 years later they still hold one, every Monday, just as the charter permits.
Steve are you looking for another project truck ? There is an auction on Sat. Aug . 17 with a 1951 Peterbilt ( described as unassembled ) . It is just off of I-39/90 North of Janesville . Badger State Auction has photos on their website . (from a long time subscriber )
He does look pretty wore out and stiff. Coming from someone that's got back problems might be guessing that all those miles in Orwell are taking a toll on his back
Steve, I get tired just watching you work the amount of labor you put in to move that trailer around back-and-forth in and out of the Tractor whatever money you get you earn it you work damn hard for your money, sir.
VALLEY FALLS KANSAS IS MY HOME TOWN !!!!!
I sure appreciate your (old school) trucking and content sharing. Greetings from the Netherlands from a retired Dutch trucker. Stay safe and enjoy trucking... (I miss it)
Thank you!
Awesome video!! Camera angles , music and comintary. All spot on as usual. Orwell is a boss. Old school in an old town.
I wish I knew you were this close this is 18 miles from my house. Valley Falls is a cool town and great bike ride up around the lake. Great vid Steve.

Steve is more skilled than most other trucking TH-camrs and has good balance in videos.

Roads paved with brick, we had some streets in Kenosha, Wisconsin in 1969. Slicker than snot in the winter time.

That place on back of dump truck is where you hook a tar and chip box up too
Cool old town. 20min from where I live now. Lot of cool vintage stuff!!!!
People just seem a lot more friendly and polite with manners in the towns out west. like going to those places.
that is true farmers and old towns people are really nice 👍
First time I've seen summer tyres on a gritting truck.
Lovely historical pictures of the town Steve.
Sure looked like the heat was getting to you.Cool off and have a safe trip home.take care.🤩🤩👍👍
DOT certified on the trailer brake your a genius
I drove through Kansas once, snoozeville.
Love seeing that you had a pick up in small town Valley Falls, got family down and around there
It’s also a good way to check your trailer brake lights, plus listen for that tell tale sound of an air leak? Stay Safe Steve!🇺🇸🏴☠️
Land I'll Mfg, Marysville, KS makes semi-trailers, lowboys, etc with hydraulic/air options to extend the trailer, raise it or lower it
Looks like a hot one, a hard knock life for sure
love the sound of orwell and your music you choose for vids amazing
I love our town.
Awesome town you and Orwell rolled thru
That round hitch in the rear is actually used for hooking up to a chip spreader for "oil and stone" road surfacing. The chip spreader is pulling the truck backwards as the operator dumps the stone into the machine.
Steve I'm out in Kansas every other week wish I could have caught up with you one of these days I'll catch up with orwel. Them old pictures were nice.
Man wish I’d known. I live in Topeka, would have offered ya company lol. Safe travels
That's cool you had a pick up in Ks. I love old towns and they're history. I live in Ks and love to travel. This got me interested in a road trip. Safe travels Steve.
Right there where you turned onto 56 and 24 is a place called Reese Fruit Farm they have awesome Cider Slushies.
That's my stomping grounds, very cool old town for sure.
Looks like one cool old town! Lots of those scattered all over our beautiful country. Cool thing is you get to see tons of them. Appreciate it Steve!
I was looking for the DeLorean & the clock tower in those old pictures!! Nice videos
Good hot afternoon brother love them old towns.
Hey Steve! You were just in my neck of the woods - wish I'd have known that, I'd have loved to have seen Orwell in live action. I go by that Love's every day to and from work. Safe driving, Brandt from Topeka.
I wish everyone could drive a good looking truck like Orwell
This is my kind of ASMR. Awesome vid!
Music choice good Steve.
Your doing great job on presentation
wish i wouldve known you were here i wouldve loved to come see the truck i only live like 2 miles from that truck stop lol and im sorry you had to deal with my city's roads

Good one
Steve I really have been liking the music in the past few videos!
What are the odds? Recognitions are coming with greater frequency. 👍

Old America
The old pictures of the town were cool! Love that stuff 😎
Great video Steve nice old time little town red brick street like main street in my home town of Shelton Nebraska. Looking forward to your next video stay safe Steve.
Nice dump
Welcome to my home state brother. You were bout 47 miles from my house
Keep up the good work with Orwell, safe trucking!
Cool little town, it don't look like it has grown much in 175 years. (Give or take) and that truck looks like it could use some help.
More classy small town Americana. Brilliant.
Don't see those air craft carrier looking elevator towers to much any more. They are massive, what they hold. Grain, sugar, powder flour, non food powder like substance or something. A couple of good lookin old cars in town and a vintage tiller!
Time for a clean shirt too.
💯💯💯
Steve- Thanks for the geography and history lesson. There are lots of nice small towns in middle America. Save the manuals. JM
Much better music 🎶. Thanks 🎉.

FeeShak! These videos are on another level. These videos are a nice ride. Appreciate it.
Love seeing the old pics of that town. Brick roads don't do well in Wisconsin, not with the plows and salt. Take care in the heat.
So close and yet so far. You were 3 hrs north of me. Welcome to my neck of the woods.
Wichita, Kansas, my home town.😊😂
The red brick roads we have here are skating rinks when wet or any snow at all. Most have been covered with blacktop for safety.
Old town with quite a few people out and about 😊
Out of Stater LOCUSTS....
Good videos. You forgot to enable closed caption for the hearing impaired. Have a trip.
How many chances in a lifetime do you get to pick up from a town where time stopped and the only big news is when you come rolling into it.
The building to your left east of Casey's used be a bar called uncle dales used to play there
Hello Steve I live in Yates Center Ks about a good hour and a half from Valley Falls
looks like a town that the livestock outnumbered humans
Yeah, third on the board! Darn 4th
Merhaba çok güzel bir video
I bet you slept good that night, you got a workout with that load for sure. I need to design a hydrolic or pneumatic system for that style of trailer to make work life a little easier.
Thats an Ex KDot salt spreader. For winter time use. Spread salt and sand mix on the street and highways
Nice, hot job!! You did a great job!!!
Sad that more cities did not preserve old buildings.60s and 70s buildings on the main street are boring.
I sold tires to a service station called Steinmetz Service in the 80.s in Valley Falls
Hello! Please add the automatic subtitles option . Thanks
Very cool video .lots of hard work. Appreciate all of it. Let go..
Any specific reason why hy you leave the engine running when you hop out to take care of paperwork?
Love the sound of it. Pure class.
I turn it off when it's going to stay off.
Door closes nice and easy now.
It's got to be nice not to have to slam it all the time and re-close it
Chris fixes a lot of things to make life on the road easier for Steve.
You're in my neck of the woods. I'm always around their railfanning and pretty sweet how you have the cameras on the back
Very interesting
0:04 who here can just smell that seat?
You passed through the town I live in. I kind of wish I was at the gas station when you drove through
Not sure what movie steve but them silos look familiar
The old towns in Colorado are sick, however the few I’ve been to are block after block of casinos lol
Hell Steve we know where I was at cause we have very very good friend's that lives there.
Always funny seeing Americans think somewhere is old, though I guess it is all relative. The small town in the UK I live in was granted a charter to hold a weekly market in 1204 and 820 years later they still hold one, every Monday, just as the charter permits.
Well, excuse the hell out of us for not having any European style settlements until the 17th fucking century.
@@jsh6952 Oh bless you, the fragility of youth 👍
@NotRubensDad
I'm 54. They have found evidence of Vikings in the Midwest from the late 9th through the 13th centuries.

Delaware river is good fishing,,use green worms are the best
Gee Steve when you were carrying those ramps this time you looked like a little old man that was tired and wore out from too much work.....be safe!!
He does look pretty wore out and stiff. Coming from someone that's got back problems might be guessing that all those miles in Orwell are taking a toll on his back
Denver Airport to that part of Kansas is one heck of an ugly deadhead run. I hope you had a great rate going into Denver.
Good job nice 🎵🎶🎵🎵🎶
Son of a biscuit! Orwell went through Topeka and I didn't get to see him... SMH
Hi FSC
Hey! Did Chris fix the Speedometer!? Looks like, its working again!
Kinda. It's way off
Steve, I get tired just watching you work the amount of labor you put in to move that trailer around back-and-forth in and out of the Tractor whatever money you get you earn it you work damn hard for your money, sir.
Yeah my knees hurt just watching him crawl in and out from under that trailer every time
Wouldn't be as popular to watch FSC if Orwell was hauling around a Box trailer.
That truck looks well wore out and used
I call it broken in. There's nothing like having a nice piece of equipment that's well broken in. It makes it a blast to operate
@@Jm-is9ig I was talking about the dump truck he was hauling not STEVE'S TRUCK. STEVE TAKES EXCELLENT CARE OF HIS TRUCK.
Steve not in to keeping things nice and clean look inside the cab of trucks look at the trailer
