      i thought this aswell, the blaines suggested option screws you over if you can redo the outbreak but since you cant here, they are equally efficient and one is just falsely clickbaited, but combining this advance swapping for reseeding works wonders.

    It is possible to force docile pokemon into battles by tagging them with sticky globs when they are all nearby and then tossing down your attacking mon at their feet. Dont hit any of them with the attacker as it will initiate a 1v1 battle. This can be tricky, so lure them together with a berry first.
    Update: further testing indicates this doesn't work with skiddish pokemon, such as unown.

      Heads up, it doesn’t work for Pokémon that run away(at least from my experience). Docile Pokémon are Pokémon like Bergmite/Yanma/Aipom who don’t attack you unless you anger them. Pokémon like Buneary won’t work with the method.

    Thank you for the video, it helps alot and I managed to get Shiny Alpha Decidueye, Spiritomb and Magmortar.
    It was a Dartrix outbreak with star, they are considered docile and seldom engage 4v1 battle. I tried throwing Sticky Globs at each quickly to get their aggressive on and managed to get into the 4v1 battle.
    On my 10th try of "kill 2 kill 2 catch the rest", Shiny Alpha Dartrix appeared.

    I love this guide. It looks complicated at first but it is simple once you do it a couple times.
    I managed to get an alpha Haunter, an alpha Ursaluna (great thing for someone who never evolved an Ursaring), and finally on the third attempt got a shiny alpha Snover. Currently hunting a Bronzor outbreak, those thing are so difficult to aim pokeballs at them lol they are so tiny.
    Edit: This method also seems to work to an extent with regular mass outbreaks. I did a test on a Walrein outbreak, first i captured everything and wrote their data in an excel; then i restarted the game (i saved in front of the outbreak), did a 4v1 battle and all but one of the Walreins that spawned after that were completely different from the 13 original pokemons that i caught in the first try. I dont know the exact permutations on regular outbreaks, but considering regular outbreaks have a higher shiny chance, this may be worth trying.

      @haydenplayz9557 2 ปีที่แล้ว +15

      @@Josh-sh6oy I find a outbreak with a second horde, and save. catch them all, check the second horde (alphas/evos), if no shiny reset the game and then instead of catching them all i go into a 1v2 battle with them and kill both, after that i catch the rest and then if that second horde has no shinies i reset the game again, and then do the same thing with a 1v3 battle where i kill 3 and catch the rest, and if the second horde still doesnt have a shiny i reset the game and do a 1v4, catch the rest and see if that second horde has a shiny. once you do these and still dont get a shiny, you then start a 1v2, kill both and after that instead of catching them all like before you enter a second 1v2 in the same reset and kill both of them again, after that catch the remaining ones and check the second horde, if i still dont have a shiny from the second horde then you would next do a 1v2, and then a 1v3 after and catch the rest and check the second horde and reset if no shiny, do a 1v2 and then a 1v4 after and catch the rest, after those you have 3 more reliable configurations to try, a 1v3 and then a 1v2 after, two 1v3's, a 1v3 and then a 1v4 after. all these will have unique pokemon in that second horde, so to summarize it a bit, each reset you must change up the way you capture some of the pokemon because that will in turn cause new pokemon to spawn in that second horde. I hope this helps and let me know if i should clarify something further.

    @MUGEN44 2 ปีที่แล้ว +62

    i don't think you've mentioned it here, but in Massive Mass Outbreak, the result of the permutations are already predetermined since you're still in the village. so say, if you catch them all and you get a shiny in the 6th pokemon, if you load your game, go to the same outbreak, you'll get that shiny in that 6th slot again.
    now, what this means is, if you have the time, you can just fly around and do all the outbreaks by catching them and see if you can get any shiny from the first 8 Pokemon and load everytime the Massive Mass Outbreak ran out, you can take note of that outbreak with the shiny and do other outbreaks in the next run.
    personally i always do this and do all the outbreaks first maybe i get an easy shiny from the first 8 Pokemon from the first outbreak, and then if there's a Pokemon outbreak in my want list that has an extra horde, i'll do that outbreak after i get the easy shiny.

Encountered two shiny alpha Elekids in one outbreak at the 2KO-1Catch-3KO combo! I tracked each mon’s stats in every combination to ensure no duplicates. It seems impossible to try to engage some pokemon with more than 2 in combat at the same time, for some reason. Like dewotts and roselias, despite being aggroed and in very close vicinity, for some reason, it does not initiate combat with those pokemon when they are the types of pokemon which only aggro after you're aggressive towards them and not with line of sight. It's extremely painful, they run in every random direction and luring them close quarters doesn't work either. I have dewott outbreak which spawns a new horde too and I'm losing my mind trying to get new rounds of spawns.
    Edit: Finally managed to find the strat for these pesky monsters and first is to lure then close via oran berries, then quickly stun each with sticky globs. When they get out of stuns, even if they rush away, you can initiate a battle with all 4.

      smack those pokémon with sticky globs and throw ultra balls. makes it so fast i almost feel dumb for not doing it the entire game. combat is too long. just smack em with items and have poke balls near the item you’re using to stun them. switch between em. smack, catch, smack, catch.

    • @Samochan
      @Samochan 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@stoutlandish580 I've been doing some testing and I figured out a method for pokemon who only become aggressive once attacked but won't run away (not cyndaquil sadly):
      Sticky glob works almost like a tagging method, the moment you glob a pokemon, you can throw your own next to them and it will pull those sticky globed pokemon to battle. It works even if they are still stunned. You do not need to stun the pokemon with globs to tag them (lv3 evo pokemons). The tag sticks for as long as the pokemon stay in combat with you and don't deaggro (dots speech bubble on their head) and it works even if they try to outrange you (prefer to have them close quarters for foolproof). Don't directly bonk a pokemon with your own though, that overrides this method. You can glob as many pokemon as you need to at given time and select how many and which ones you want to battle.
      Alpha pokemon will probably still join the battle anyway if aggroed. I did not test this one properly.
      Tested this extensively with grotle yesterday and it worked like a charm, so I did iterations for 2 hours and got no shiny rip.

  • @EchoSeraphim
    @EchoSeraphim 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    So if I'm understanding this correctly :
    - Get an MMO, save
    - Follow that exact chart to the letter till 10 resets
    - No shiny after 10 resets? Keep going to try somewhere else
    - This method is specifically for Pokemon that can aggro you
    - This method is specifically fo MMO areas that will have a second batch of Pokemon guaranteed to spawn ( with the star icon )
    Right? Or did I miss something? I'm also confused how the game data calculates it and saves a chain. Is that similar to how the game data itself pre-saves things in its memory for spawns to always be the same? And how did you specifically get ALPHA spawns, too?
    I'm also having problems fighting the Pokemon in groups, too.

    • @valvevac-systemchecker3773
      @valvevac-systemchecker3773 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      -Step 1 save in Jubilife
      -Step 2 Check the desired region for an outbreak of choice (preferably with a star seeing as those have a guaranteed second hord, however you can also do is check out an outbreak that doesn’t have star, there is a low chance that there is a second hord as well, this method also works and yes the second hord will remain at that specific outbreak no matter if you reset the game again and go from jubilife village)
      -Step 3 catch the first 4 and count how many pokemons appeared in both hordes
      -Step 4 return and have the bot scan your Pokemons
      -Step 5 fill out the outbreak information and have it run the permutations
      -Step 6 reset game
      -Step 7 go to the outbreak and run the line to get the pokemon you want accordingly
      This method works best for pokemon that can aggro because it’s easier to have multiple battles with them, however if the permutations only have A1s and G1s then you can also use the method on timid pokemons but the likelihood is lower. The way the method works is because the game is seeded, there are specific givens, the seed determines what mass out break happens and likewise provides a set of rules kinda like programming, if player catches/faints 1 pokemon spawn 1 regular pokemon, if player catches/faints 2 pokemon spawn shiny pokemon and etc. The bot with the seed and outbreak information runs the right permutations in order to calculate the possible route to a shiny alpha or regular alpha depending on what’s available, sometimes you can only get a shiny and not an alpha shiny, it has to do with the outbreak seed possibilities and sometimes Shiny Alpha are not possible in that specific outbreak in the seed.
      I tried it for fun with a Luxray mass outbreak I found, I caught them one by one and only got a regular luxray, then for fun I reset it and instead of catching them 1 by 1 I caught them all in a simultaneous battle which made the 8th spawn always shiny, I did it again just to confirm it wasn’t luck and was the correct permutation/route and it worked.

    Two extra cents of advice: if you are willing to battle multiple pkm at once, and ended up entering a battle with more of them than you need, you can still use that battle to your advantage -- you just need to defeat the amount of pkm you want and run from the battle with the remaining pkm alive. In other words, the knockouts after a battle are what counts towards the new spawns. As an example, entering a battle with two pkm and defeating them both is the same as entering a battle with all 4, defeating two of them, and running from the battle to wait for the two next spawns.

    okay so i just tested this method out on a Bergmite outbreak, 8 spawns prior, 7 alpha spawns.
    I did your list from top to bottom, it didn't work out, but when i decided "you know what? why not, i'll start it over & try again" it wasn't until I hit 2 KOs/Catch the rest that when the alphas spawned, I got the damn shiny alpha Bergmite lol
    so even if you go through the entire list of the method one time, start over & keep trying guys!
    & thank you Austin! I was truly confused about your research video on this method but because you made the explanation so simple here, i got it right away!

    12:46 this is the most unenthusiastic reaction to a shalpha

    Would you mind sharing the Google doc with all the different permutations so people can use it as a checklist without having to scribble everything down? What better way to shiny than by standing on the shoulders of giants 💖

    This theory really did work but I did try and test it on Normal Outbreaks, no icon ones and ofc the star ones. It does work!

    Austin John. I've encountered an MMO with 10 starting horde. I used your combination, i can't believe it worked. I'm about to give up mid way. I still continued to help you prove that your combination works. Though the process lead me from 2-0-0 until the 2-3-3 combo. 🤣 Glad i've got my Alpha Shiny Carnivine through the long process.

    Here's my findings for research purposes: for starters, this method definitely still works. I got 2 shiny alphas relatively early on (the 1st 10-15 permutations). I have a horde of 10 heracross with 6 alphas and have been hunting for one with no luck, currently on permutation #80. Just a bit of info, I found that I wasnt often getting any random alpha spawns during the initial "Catch/KO" phases. It only happened 2-3 times during the early and middle permutations. Again, currently on permutation 80, and haven't seen a single random alpha spawn in a very long time.

    Since I'm doing alpha zoruas and now I'm getting zoroarks spawning which I haven't been getting before doing this method is it a sign it's working?
    Update: IT HAPPENED
